SOG Flash AT Daily Carry Ambidextrous Partially Serrated Pocket Folding Knives Ergonomic Handle D2 Steel Blade

Sog has been one of my favorite pocket knives. The price point is a little high but the quality of the knife is well above other brands. The quick open feature is great and works well. There is a locking feature that you have to make sure is pushed down to operate the quick open. It acts as a safety of sorts. I would purchase this knife again.

The media could not be loaded. Another reviewer said this knife was tough to open. I didn't find this to be the case at all. Maybe his was a lemon? I've owned multiple SOGs, Benchmades & Kershaws. I've no complaint about functionality with this one whatsoever. Release the (optional but recommended) spine safety and press on the ambidextrous thumb stud for a VERY quick assisted open. That's what you want with the Flash, right? Seriously, I sat for a good while opening it and marveling at the speed.Sharp out of the box. Comfortable to hold. Had slightly more heft than I expected. Heavier than, say, the SOG Trident, but lighter than your average Benchmade.One thing to grow accustomed to is needing to pinch the handle with your thumb and forefinger to pull it out of your pocket. This is necessary with the deep conceal pocket clip.Very pleased with this one. Will be my go-to EDC.

Liked how solid the lock feature holds and how easy the knife opens. Also the smaller area where the serrated part of the knife is good for cutting line.

The media could not be loaded. Update: April 23, 3023I have made this a part of my EDC. The opening mechanism has “broken in” nicely and has become much easier to open. It fits cleanly in my pocket without adding bulk.Great looking knife, fits my hand well. But it’s just a bit hard to open. Not like my previous Flash, it was quick and smooth. Not yet with this one. I’ll give it a little more break-in time and reevaluate before I decide to send it back or not.

I bought this knife on sale and bang for the buck it’s a great knife. I wouldn’t have considered it for retail $90+ depending on color, blade etc. but for sub $60 it’s a solid knife. Decent blade sharpness out of the box, strong assisted opening and solid lock!

Thus SOC knife is versatile & opens fast! I somehow lost mine & spent a long time trying to don’t it & thankfully I did! I can’t live without it!It’s funny that I found so my ways to use it aside from what it’s made lije opening packages…! It’s excellent!

Works as it should. Read reviews about clip and assisted opening being too tight. All it needs is a short break in period and it works fine for me. Good to go.
