Works great so far
Great little chamfering tool. Works great on 6063 Aluminum, haven’t tried harder material. Nothing to complain about for $68 Pros: •as others noted, it’s small and handy Cons: •goes through a surprisingly large amount of air. Other review said this, but I still underestimated it. You’ll want PSI > 90, with compressor running while operating it

Blade life is about 48”
For the price it is a great tool. The chamfer cut is super nice. I got a little less than 48” of nearly full depth chamfer on an A36 plate before rotating the cutters to a new edge. The cut became much slower and the force required to advance the cut increased noticeably around 30” into the job. The cutters are cheap, so cost doesn’t bother me. I would however gladly pay a premium for better cutters that increased the interval between rotations. About a 5 minute job to turn the cutters, and will go quicker next time. The torx wrench was JUNK and destroyed on the first use, but if you are buying this tool, I’m betting you have a drawer full or torx bits. First impression - really happy with my purchase.

First one showed up with no inserts or tools!
First one I received was delivered with no inserts or tools as it was supposed to, but thankfully the seller stepped up and sent second one, it was completely intact! It works pretty good, but think 🤔 would be better if I made a small holder that held the tool upside down and use both hands to guide piece into the cutters of the tool!

Review from experienced machinist/fabricator.
After reading all the reviews I almost didn't buy the tool. But I really wanted to test the process and the tool itself. I knew it probably wouldn't be production tool but before I invested in a production quality tool I want to see if I even wanted to chamfer all the outward facing edges. Here is my tips on making the toll work as expected. 1. Oil the tool before use with air tool oil. 2. Make sure everything is tight. (Insert screws, Collar sets, Etc) 3. If using on hard metals (Steel) set to the lowest speed. (Lowest Cutting Surface Speed) 4. Cut in the conventional milling direction NOT climb milling direction. (In video is convention milling direction.) 5. Hold tool firmly don't be a snowflake & maintain a consistent federate keep the cutting edged engaged. (This will keep you from burning up the inserts. 5. After chamfering hit the edge with a DA sander to deburr. (This is not a deburring tool it WILL leave sharp burrs.) I have chamfered about 65 linear feet with single edge of the insert and it's still good. The bearing is still good. The bearing (683ZZ) is $8 for 20 of them on Amazon sooooo yeah nothing to cry about. Also you can get some good inserts TCMT1.8 inserts for like $5ea.

AAA Cheap price! Fail in adjustable depth!
You cannot set the depth at all when you try to tighten any Allen set screws on the metal body its so thin near the rotating mass of the blade that it causes the shaft and blade to bind and not spin. If you leave all 3 set screws loose on the height adjustment sleeve it will work at max depth of cut. You can snug the height adjustment ring up against the body of the tool, but without the set screws, it will come loose at that high of RPM. There’s definitely gonna be some stuff moving around if it’s not tight very disappointed.. I am hoping the company that sold it to me would have an easy solution, but looking at it from an engineering point, I don’t see what that would be.

awesome little tool!
does it's job great. I use it on an aluminum composite that scratches easily, this tool is very easy to control and doesn't scratch the surface. The only negative that it is very loud! But I wear hearing protection so it's not an issue

Works well, uses a lot of air
Good tool but requires at least 90 psi and a lot of air flow. I think a smaller portable compressor would have difficulty keeping up with it. The 1/4 inch standard fitting is not very good quality but better quality ones are readily available. Uses standard triangular carbide cutters which are available from many sources and also the pilot ball bearing is a standard size and replacements are cheap. The chips it throws are very sharp so protective clothing and eyewear are highly recommended. I was expecting it to be loud but it wasn't bad at all. Supporting the air hose (such as throwing it over your shoulder) can make controlling the tool easier. Well worth the price.

Tiny but mighty
Used this on one of my projects and it has changed my whole outlook on the grinder for making a bevel. It makes a very high pitched whine but it's small so obviously that will happen. Once I wore off the paint layer on the slider (?), it was great. The paint made it grab a little bit but once it's metal to metal, the little guy does an amazing job, even on quarter inch plate with the cutter bit fully extended.

Great little tool tried it and quite impressed. The air fitting is a what ever type screw so I welded a 1/4 inch pipe fitting on to it so I could put one of my quick release fittings on it besides that it works great.

It generates a lot of noise even at low speeds, but it gets the job done.

Excellent tool for deburing/bevelling. I use it on Aluminium and it produces an excellent finish. Does require several passes for the smoothest finish. Ups the level of my products. Appears to be well made.

I used this product to chamfer for weld prep. The second time i used it, the cutting head came removed from the motor shaft internally. Never once stalled it out nor dropped the tool. Junk
