Only 1 box needed! very easy to use and quick to dry!
Sooo much better and easier than the previous cast i bought off of amazon. Definitely worth it and durable! did not take long to dry, which made this a 10/10 product. Extremely happy with the results !

Easy to use
The media could not be loaded. My husband bought this for me and it was literally such a cute activity for us to do together. Had all the stuff that we did need and barely made a mess. It was actually very quick to dry.

Great Product - DIY and Easy
I have purchased 2 of these for pregnancies in 2011 and 2012 and both casts have lasted but I have yet to get around to painting them. I am planning on purchasing another for my 3rd baby and I highly recommend it. I sat for each one so plan to be sitting upright for a bit. Yes, it is messy since you are working with plaster....if you don't dig on mess then don't waste your time. Of course you are going to have a baby and babies are far more messy then this product could ever be haha. My husband did the work and while it takes some time, I had no problem showering off the gook and the final product looked great. Afterall it is a DIY made with love project which is why I enjoyed it.....far less expensive then paying a professional and its handmade. As far as reinforcing and all that....well yes I suggest you do that after it is completely dry...as in several days later. Mine have not broken or chipped and of course you will need to clean it up by sanding the edges once it is completely reinforced. We moved from overseas with the first cast and it arrived perfect so crumbling, etc. was not an issue for us. I think if you rush it and don't reinforce it or allow it to really dry then you may have issues. More of a user error then a product problem.Great buy and wonderful memories. Happy to have them!!!

Great keepsake
The kit turned out great. It’s users friendly, but super messy. My husband helped me do it. I chose to stand up to get my upper thighs and that was tough because it does take time to put it one and let it dry. You will have to have someone help you do it. I used gold spray paint on it, I attached the color and brand picture. It turned out great, but it was a labor of love. Such a sweet way to remember my belly. I did mine at 36 weeks and had my son at 37 weeks 1 day. Do make sure to use a lot of vaseline on your belly to make the mold come off easier. Otherwise it feels like you’re being waxed when it comes off.

Pregnancy cast
To begin this pregnancy cast came out better than expected, I love how it turned out. This was my first time doing one, did it all on my own, standing up, I liked the appearance better than when I was sitting down.I like how easy it is to work with, it dries instantly after being smoothened out once placed on lubricated skin.Tips: lubricate skin thoroughly, because it will hurt and pull on skin hair when trying to remove it, so butter up (lol).Take your time, do not rush. Masterpiece is created with patience.Overlap layers of plaster bandages nice and smooth as you go and it will turn out great. The package included a plastic drop cloth, a pair of gloves, a casting lubricant, an instruction manual, and 4 sets of 4in x 5yd plaster bandages. The only disclaimer, the image of the package is different from the one received as seen in the photos. As for dislikes, don't have any at all.Happy with the experience. Happy with the purchase.

A must have for any soon to be mommy
This kit was very easy and fun to use. There is alot of powder that get everywhere when you cut the strips and it is very messy when applying however anything you may get on a surface other than the protection sheet they provide does wipe of very easily. I used the provided lubricant and had no troubles with it sticking to my skin at all, in fact after the first layers dried it popped right off and i had to hold it on for the remaining pieces. We made it pretty thick so im not sure on drying times, its still drying! its been almost 3 hours but the shape has held great so far. A little tip os make sure you smear the water around with the paste/plaster w.e. it is and fill in the little holes. Youll know what i mean when you get to that part. It makes a huge differnce in the surface being smooth after it dries. This was very simple to use i feel a ten year old could do a great job. I had my 75 year old grandmother help me do mine and looks fantastic. Super simple and a great price for the memory it holds. I rec this to all new mommy and daddys! I cannot wait to paint mine and hang it up, however im going to wait a bit after my son is born so we can add the details like time and date.

Fun, messy, memory!
Easy yo use, plenty of material, sets fast and dries with in a couple days. You need to prep and not just "start". Open all the rolls and get some scissors. Unroll and cut to lengthstarting with the breast and work your way down. Lay out your precut strips in size piles. We opted to use a plastic chair andonly place the plastic drop sheet underneath. I recommend that you throw an old sheet on top because the plastic will stick to bare feet. ( no shoes unless you want them coated also). Put a dish ( 9x13 worked great) of warm water beside your strips. Sit down and coat yourself very well with included lube and have your partner get to work! You need to work fast and you need to smooth the materials constantly to keep it smooth. For us the breast were setting up and we weren't even to the tummy. I just held it to my body and we completed the casting. It came off really easy and laid on table to dry. Which has taken about 3 days.Don't worry about the edges you trim it with scissors and once completely dry you can lightly sand/buff smooth and go from there.Have fun, laugh at the messy-ness and enjoy making a memory.
