Quit cooling after 1 year!
Worked really good in my KENWORTH but for only a little over a year 😡

Good fridge but not very deep
We bought this fridge for my husbands Kenworth truck. It was lightweight and easy to install. I was a little disappointed I missed that it was not very deep on the inside.

Excellent quality with dual electric features.
I installed this in a small RV. It appears to be a quality item and well made. The ability to use both 12V and 110V is a real plus. Also nice for an emergency situation. I would have given it 5 stars but this type of cooling system has some limitation versus a regular refrigerator. But this is an issue with the type of cooling system and not the actual product.

Underwhelming performance
I really wanted this fridge to work in my application. I built out a Dodge Caravan last winter and created a kitchenette behind the rear lift gate. We made a space that would fit the Smad unit with enough ventilation.The first unit never cooled well at 12 volts, but Smad service was great. I ordered a 2nd one and used its box to return the DOA one. Refund for the extra unit was expedited super quickly.The 2nd one cools well at both 110 and 12 volts, but it runs a deep charge battery down in just over 2 days, even when plugged in already at cold temperatures (I cooled it at 110 volts, unplugged and substituted 12 volt). I'm using a VMax 128AH battery, not a Walmart 80AH, so I'd expect much longer performance. The deep cycle recharges automatically from the car battery and it runs OK with both batteries in the loop, but once the van is off, I'm on borrowed time.Maybe my expectations are just too high for a 12 volt system, but it's hard to believe that a boater (for example) would be ok with a 2 day charge.In the end, it's a nicely designed power hog.

I put mine in my semi truck, it’s been bouncing around for a year in the back sleeper and still works fine.

No longer works
Fridge draws 60W then immediately draws no power. Does not cool. The light is on but nobody's home. Product support will not help. Very very disappointed with the product.
