Diesen DJI Propellerschutz nutze ich gelegentlich bei Indoor-Flügen. Dazu der Wortlaut von DJI, sie werden eingesetzt, um Schäden an Personen und Gegenständen zu verringern…..….unter windlosen Bedingungen oder in Räumen bei niedriger Geschwindigkeit zu verwenden.So kann man gefahrloser in Räumlichkeiten fliegen, ohne die Mavic Air 2 oder Gegenstände zu beschädigen. Aber bitte aufpassen, Blumenvasen oder Ähnliches werden weggedrückt, denn DJI Drohnen haben wirklich Power! Aufgrund des guten Preisleistungsverhältnis, keine Fehlinvestition.Sehr zu empfehlen bei Interferenzen, auch privat, aber überwiegend in gewerblichen Räumen kann es zu diesen Störungseinflüssen kommen. So ist man auch auf der sicheren Seite, vor allem um die Drohne zu schützen.Im Indoor-Bereich erhält die Drohne keine GPS-Daten, hält sich aber, dank der Bodensensoren, auf der Stelle. Leichtes Abdriften ist möglich, ist wie im ATTI-Modus zu fliegen. Bei diesem Modus fliegt man ohne GPS Unterstützung, das bedeutet, beispielsweise draußen, sie bremst nicht abrupt ab, sondern gleitet dahin. Also immer schön aufpassen, damit die Freude am Fliegen nicht getrübt wird.Tipps, für vermeidbare Risiken mit Drohnen:Ich empfehle die kostenlosen APP's, „DFS“ Deutsche Flugsicherung, wo ich fliegen darf und „UAV Forecast“ (siehe Foto – gibt’s beide für IOS & Android), die mir vor jedem Start wichtige Daten (Sonnenauf- und -Untergang, Windstärke, etc.) liefert. Auch der entscheidende und aktuelle KP-Index wird mir angezeigt. Für die meisten sicherlich noch „unbekannt“!?!Die Bezeichnung K-Index | KP-Index („K“ = „Kennziffer“) bezeichnet eine planetarische Kennziffer. Dieser Index wurde entwickelt, um solare Teilchenstrahlung durch ihre magnetische Wirkung darzustellen. Die symbolische Darstellung erfolgt in den ganzzahligen Werten von 0 bis 9.Der K-Index zwischen dem Wert 0 bis 3 (gute Bedingungen) steht für eine geringe Aktivität der Magnetfeldschwankungen durch Sonnenstürme und der Flug ist uneingeschränkt möglich. Bei einem Wert von 4 (grenzwertig) gilt „vorsichtig“ fliegen und ab einem Wert von 5 (inakzeptabel). Denn hier verändert sich die Laufzeit der GPS Signale, sodass es zu Fehlberechnungen kommt und Positionsabweichungen können die Folge sein. Selbst ein RTH (Return to home) ist dann unter Umständen nicht mehr sicher. Diese Einflüsse (ab einem KP-Index Wert von “5“) können zu unkontrollierten Drifts und Fly Aways führen. Vor ca. 6 Jahren habe ich das zweimal erlebt, wusste aber zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nichts von dem KP-Index. Die Drohne fühlte sich etwas fremd an, hatte das Gefühl, ich habe sie nicht mehr so richtig unter Kontrolle. So habe ich recherchiert, um mögliche Ursachen zu erfahren. Denn diese Magnetfeldschwankungen könnten mittunter auch eine Erklärung für einige negative Erfahrungsberichte sein, die in Foren und bei Socialmedia zu finden sind, wer weiß?! Aber mit der kostenlosen APP (UAV Forecast) war ich die letzten 5 Jahre immer auf der sicheren Seite und es gab kaum ein Tag, wo ich wegen eines stark erhöhten K-Index nicht starten konnte ;-)Bitte auch Abstand zu Stahl und Eisen halten, letztendlich alles was das Magnetfeld eines Kompasses beeinflussen/stören kann. Ich bin mal vor vielen Jahren von einem Auto gestartet und bekam die Meldung „Kompass-Störung“. Das ist schon ein komisches Gefühl, wenn man nicht sofort weiß, was der Auslöser war.

Although I’m a member of the Vine programme, this was a personal purchase.The nature of drone flying is that the odd crash is pretty much inevitable and the propellers are the most likely component of a drone to get damaged. If the propellers are damaged, the chances of recovering the drone are seriously reduced.Propellers are also very sharp and the most likely component to cause injury if they come into contact with soft tissue. I have in the past had my hand cut quite badly by propellers so, when I purchased by Mavic Air 2, propeller guards were a must-have accessory.Considering the modest cost, especially in relation to the cost of the drone, I was surprised they weren’t included in the package. However, the cost is insignificant compared to protection the guards provide.Have no doubt, these are the real-deal, nothing like the flimsy guards provided with some of the cheaper drones. These Mavic guards are well engineered, well-fitting and substantial, giving excellent protection not only to your drone, but to anybody unfortunate enough to be struck by it.They come in four parts which must be assembled being fitted to the drone. Each part is stamped with its position, front and back, left and right. The front and back sections slide securely together and are then slipped up around the undercarriage and fastened very securely with strong clips.With the guards fitted, the drone appears much bigger, and is much easier to see when flying, and the guards don’t seem to affect the performance or handling to any degree.I’m very impressed with the quality and value.

Well worth the investment.Having crashed my drone in several innocuous situations, I needed some protection from myself.This will not prevent the drone from coming down in major crashes but it will help it to keep flying after some of those minor bumps into fences that would normally see the drone come crashing down.Anyway, we just shelled out almost £1k on a bloody toy! Are we really going to stop at a few extra accessories?

They do what their supposed to do, but not if you hit the ceiling! my fault! you can still run in to things between the guards! you can buy a piece of plastic for silly money to fit at the front. Or, Here's a good tip! tie a piece of fishing line across the front, does the same thing for nowt, and doesn't interfere with the sensors.

Good value for money and sturdy enough to do their job but not heavy on a way that would affect the manoeuvrability of the drone. They pack down to ‘quarters’ but if you have a case they are probably too big for it!
