My last Brasscraft connectors lasted 20 years so I used some new ones on my new HW heater. I like the fact that the entire connector is copper or brass except for the rubber washers and won't degrade with time.

Bought these because the description stated country of origin USA, received made in china, therefore I am returning them.

NOT "BrassCraft" NOT made in USA, which is a premium, plumber preferred product. It's "Homewerks" made in CHINA low quality "cost effective" junk (see photo) widely available at retail locations that deal in "Made in China" products. The packaging was a flatten box wrapped in a trash bag (see photo). Should be CRIMINAL to do something like this. If I could leave NO STARS I would have!

Worked well for the Purpose of the purchase.

How is this even sold in California? It’s marketed for water heater use but comes with a Prop 65 warning for lead. Some sites claim it’s “No Lead Compliant” which is even more misleading. Without an update from the manufacturer, this doesn’t appear to be drinking water safe.
