What is the rated horse power on this meat grinder

This grinder runs (under no load) at 600 Watts and runs between 600 Watts and 1200 Watts (under load). The peak output power of this product is 3000 Watts and the mathematical equation for conversion of Watts into HP is 1HP = 746 Watts. 3000 Watts divided by 746 equals over a 4 HP "Rating", but please note that this grinder does NOT have a 4 HP motor in it. This is a "RATING ONLY" and is not to be confused with the motors that come in Commercial/Industrial Meat Grinders that have actual 1 HP to sometimes 1.5 HP motors in them. Can you grind raw chicken bones with this machine?

Thank you for reaching out and asking about our STX International Turboforce II Electric Meat Grinder. Yes, this grinder can handle SOFT bones such as chicken, squirrel, quail and rabbit. Hard bones, such as beef, pork, and turkey, are NOT able to be processed by this grinder. Bones must be incorporated with meat and will not grind by themselves. What is the HP rating on this grinder

There was an earlier post from STX saying it has a 3/4 hp motor in it.

Not sure what you mean by air-cooled…there’s an internal fan on the motor….we’ve done 5 deer thru it so far & it works great!
