Cute decorations for cakes
They worked great for me. I put them over a cake. Be sure to use them after cake is out of the fridge so they don’t get humid. Nice taste.

Edible butterflies
Easy to form. These leveled up the cake and cupcakes. Colors are nice. Will buy again in the future.

Looked vey pretty on a birthday cake.
These looked very pretty on a birthday cake. While they are edible, I would not recommend eating them unless you like to let food starch take a long time to dissolve on your tongue.

Very pretty, one-sided and flavorless as advertised
I got these as an edible sugar-free and gluten-free decoration, which is harder to find than you'd think! These lovely butterflies are printed on one side on edible wafer paper, which is like heavy card stock with a little glossy sealant over the inked side. The inks are a bit less vibrant than the pictures, sort of a soft pastel, and the blue/teal and pink/peach are rather similar. They don't have much taste - sort of like communion wafers - and (good news) the ink doesn't seem to have any taste either. They arrived packaged nicely in a resealable plastic zip bag and separated easily. A few of them had some white damage spots, mostly minor, so I would recommend getting a few more than you'll actually need.To bend them, I placed a skewer in the center and then gently lifted the wings up for a rounded crease. For cupcakes, I used edible gum arabic glue to stick two butterflies of the same color back to back, to give a 3-D effect when the wings were bent and to make them sturdier. Some of the doubled butterflies developed a slight white crack on the bottom when I bent them, but it was fine as it was on the bottom where they were attached to the cupcake.I recommend adding the butterflies to the cake as late as possible if you can. Even doubled for extra stiffness, they softened in the refrigerator overnight so that the wings drooped open a bit, but it turned out looking fine for the wings to be open anyway. One of the single-layer butterflies on a cake had half a wing droop down overnight , so it needed to be replaced with a fresh one in the morning. Again, you'll probably want to fold a few extras and keep them handy in case you need to do a last-minute swap for a droopy one.

The Better Butterfly
These are WONDERFUL! I have used them on a number of cakes. The colors are soft and beautiful. The material is easy to manipulate if you know and understand what you are working with. Basically this is a wafer paper material with edible ink printed on them. I coated the blank back side of the butterfly with a thin coat of water (If you have Gum Tex Powder in the water its even better) and carefully stuck the back sides of 2 butterflies together. BE CAREFUL! once they touch there is NO going back. They adhere to each other VERY well. Once they dried i coated the center with a bit more water and gave it a minute to soften. Then I gently folded the butterfly until I got the desired look and placed it on to a small bit of rolled black fondant then attached it to the cake. Go lite on the water being wafer paper in structure water will dissolve that stuff pretty quick. The value was excellent for the product you get.The flavor is not good BUT it IS basically "paper" and really there for looks not really there to eat although you can if you like.I highly recommend this product!

Aesthetically beautiful, NOT tasty by ANY means
Gorgeous but not tasty AT ALL. They aren’t very flexible either. That makes them a bit hard to place organically. A few broke in half as I was trying to shape them. They are a really cute aesthetic addition but I would not suggest eating them although they are technically edible. Unless styrofoam is your get down I would pull them off your cupcake😅

Beautiful, highly recommend!
These are stunning! Amazing quality. I ate one just to see how they were, weird texture but the flavor is okay.
