Product is ligfhtweight for travel and I believe with time my shoes will ber moe comfortable.
It is easy to use without instruction. I onl used it once, but my shoe felt better. I started wearing Brooks sneakjers and then when I go out, I wear shoes thgat were stretched with foam toe pads cut to size and now also lamb's hair wool. I cut a strip about 10-12 inches and loosely wind around pinky. This is the only way for me not to feel pain in myfoot and toe area.

Houndsbay Cedar Shoe Trees
Even though I dress like a casual slob otherwise, I found myself getting into leather shoes over the past few years: the types of leathers, soles, constructions, styles of shoes, and leather care make it a nice little rabbit hole. I have a small collection now which I enjoy wearing and try to maintain. The use of cedar shoe trees is apparently one of the most important maintenance items. The advice is to have a set of trees for each pair of shoes and keep them in the shoes whenever they are not being worn. And to avoid wearing the same shoes two days in a row or when they are wet. I have two sets of Houndsbay trees. They are not too expensive and have been all good so far. I am a size 12E Brannock and got the "X-Large / 11.5-13 US" size. This seems like a good size so that they give a little resistance in my shoes, but are not so tight that they are stretching them. I haven't noticed any problems with the construction or wood. I like that they have "left" and "right" clearly engraved on the top.

Seem to be good quality
These are cedar wood with a jam mechanism, just place it into the shoe and it spreads the toe open. To remove, pull up from the heel. I am using them on a pair of ankle high boots so I placed them inside and will check in a day or two. They smell lovely as well. They are packaged well and the company says they donate a portion of their profits toward planting new trees. I think the price is reasonable also since I got a pair whereas others, which are made of plastic, only supply one for about the same price. Update: they did work in my shoes and boots but they did not get rid of creased areas which can be troublesome in pinching my feet but they did widen them. My advice it to use them right away on new shoes before they get shaped to your foot and broken in. Update: I left the trees in for a few days and they did indeed get rid of the creasing and widen the shoes. They feel much better!

I am ordering more of these
Exactly what I wanted. High quality and quick service. If you value your foot ware and take care of them with products like these shoe trees they will last much longer.

I highly recommend it
They are the best that I have ever had easy to adjust and the strong Cedar smell.

Great! Will get more for other shoes.
Hey, I just wanted to say these are great—I have them in multiple shoes and they’ve been keeping everything smelling fresh. I did have one question though: would it be possible to exchange one of the right ones? The handle snapped when I was lifting it out of a shoe. I still think they’re awesome, just curious if an exchange is an option.
