The bad: The blade is highly dangerous and can easily pop out unawares. There is only one replacement of the unusual blade. Metal silicon removers are fine. Various silicon shapers are fine though better are available. The silicon cannister piercer and poker are silly. Overall reasonable value.

Despite the description, this tool is made mostly of plastic - only the scraper tool and blade are metal. The metal parts are sharp and seem durable, but the plastic handle feels cheap. The blade isn't retractable, it only gets covered by the trowel tool, so be sure to keep the plastic cover for the blade so you don't cut yourself when using the tool - it's not the safest item to use.

The removal tool is next to useless as you need a sharp blade to cut into the existing mastic. The scraper was good. I found the little plastic things for producing a neat finish on the new silicone worked a treat. But you can probably buy these separately.

Compared to previous plastic based remover kits I have purchased previously, this has done a great job at removing the shower silicone. It is still a hard job and takes time but this helps make it a bit easier

Be careful with the sharp blade.

Couldn’t figure how to use it to open a tube of chalk.The razor is tiny and the blade tends to fall out. Only comes with one extra blade.

I liked the Silicone scrub. It was so easy to pull along and make a lovely finish to caulk line
