Perfect starter Harmonica
I like to think of myself as an amateur musician in that i can probably play 1-2 recognizable songs on several different instruments. I had seen a few videos of people playing familiar riffs on a harmonica and suddenly fancied myself as a bit of a Bob Dylan. I had no idea of pricing and found some quite expensive ones for sale, but this was very reasonable and in my favourite colour! The harmonica is in the key of C and i was suprised at the build quality when it arrived. It comes in a hard box which includes a cloth and some wipes to keep the instrument clean. The flutes are numbered 1-10 making it very easy to follow a tab. In terms of playability, you either suck or blow on the correct numbered flute and a different sound comes out, so you essentially have 20 differant notes in the key of C. Much to my surprise, within minutes of opening the box i was successfully replicating piano man! A few days later and i was playing happy birthday to my daughter. This is very much a pick up and play instrument. I would say to play it well you need to incorporate verbrato, hand movements and licks coupled with a few years of discipline, however for the purpose of having a bit of fun this is perfect! my 10 year old daughter even picked it up and after a quick video was playing her own version of piano man! in terms of sound, i couldnt tell you what a good or bad harmonica sounds like, but this sounds like a harmonica! when it comes to comfort and functionality, it is ideally sized for kids and adults alike, however after several minutes of playing i found the sharp edges did hurt my palm slightly, but most likely because i was holding it wrong!

Satisfied with product for a beginner
Super fun for me as a beginner. Comes with a box + cleaning cloth. Harmonica itself is really pretty, works well, loud. Not sure if there is any tuning ability etc, but it comes working great!

Moothie…
Looks the part and for the price it’s ok. But to be clear, it’s a cheap harmonica and not of great quality. Pay the extra 30 quid and get a better brand if you want to progress with your playing. Apart from that it’s fine…
