Cool Phone...
This is the third BLU phone that I've bought. This is the second that I have bought used from a different wesite. I love BLU phones and I'm an Amazon prime user so I always like to do a review of the phones I purchase on Amazon.First impressions of this phone are great. I'm currently using a BLU Studio Mini Lte so this is the same except for th size and the camera MP that's it. The Mini is 4.5inch this is 5.0inch the 4.5 is 10mm thick and the 5.0 is 9mm. I also notice that the weight is about the same but given that the 5.0 is bigger it just feels lighter that the Mini.I bought this for the LTE and the Snapdragon Processor and they don't disapoint. If you get a good LTE signal in your area that's great, I don't so I turn the LTE off and run on 4G only and it is plenty fast. The screen is bright and always has a good picture for the size. It does have a large bezel around the screen of the phone. You figure that you could make the screen bigger or the bezel smaller. That's really the only reason I give it 4 stars. But with that said your not (at least I'm not) focusing on the bezel you focusing on the phone.BLU always does well with the OS. Smooth running no bloatware, I don't care about the 4.3 jelly bean I change the launcher (Nova) right off the bat and things look like kit kat or lolly pop and to me is more customizable.I haven't had the chance to test the battery life. Between the Mini and the 5.0 there is a 150mah difference so I'm thinking they will be similar given the size of their screens. I figure a days worth of heavy use and two days with light usage. The OS that BLU gets from Android I believe is the reason for their good battery life.Overall I'm a BLU fan. For the price you can't beat these phones they are. This a really cool phone to hold in your hand when you get it. Very slick and sleek design. I bought the yellow and it's very cool looking. Always happy with BLU so if you need a buget phone or want an upgrade and don't want to pay for flagship price this phone is for you.Update: 3-5-15I've had this phone for almost a month and still really like it. I sold the used phone to a friend and bought a new one here off Amazon. Here's a weird fact. The two phones are the same right? So there is a setting on the other (used) phone that is not on the one (new) phone that I bought. If you go to the settings and go to storage you noticed on the used phone that you have a choice to place the destination of downloaded apps or pictures to be stored on your SD card. The used phone was not rooted. As for the new phone didn't have that choice. For me it's not a huge deal but yet I'm not sure why the same phones have different abilities. I did tried to root the new phone with Kingo Root with no success and luckily didn't brick the phone. As for needing this feature I really don't care but like, and have owned other BLU phones in the past, to take my 64gb sd card and make that the destination for apps and such for the phone. The Mini LTE had this feature and the BLU Life Play S had this feature. As for the rest of the phone. I have tried and failed to get any of the BLU phones that I've owned (Life Play S, Mini LTE, and 5.0 LTE) to have a working GPS. This is a feature that I don't use. I really don't care about having the GPS, I use the map but don't really need it to tell me where I need to go. If I want a good GPS I will buy a cheap Garmin. The battery life is good you can get a days worth of charge with moderate usage. This is with a battery saver app.Overall I'm a huge BLU fan. There are good and bad things about BLU and you can read them in any of the reviews that you see. This is a great phone for the price if you need a budget phone.

Nice for what it is
I am a Windows Phone user. Which I standby as being a better OS than anything else out there ... if only it had the apps Android/iOS has... but I digress...I had to send my Lumia to Nokia to fix something covered under warranty and for the two weeks it was gone I bought this BLU phone. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a phone that I was only going to use for two weeks, but I did have a separate purpose, and that was to be my Android test device for the mobile apps I develop.I am already somewhat familiar with Android and this phone served its purpose well for the two weeks I used it as my main device. It also is more than adequate as a test device. As a person who tends to use the top of the line phones, I have had a new phone every year for a while now, I must say I was very surprised by the overall quality and feel of this phone. It is quite sleek, thin, and light, while still being a nice 5 inch screen.I'll start with the positives. The screen is nice and clear, just as vivid as any phone I have seen. It feels good in hand, especially with the clear gummy case that comes with it. There are a slew of accessories that you get including the gummy case, screen protector, and headphones, etc.. who doesn't like free accessories? The touch for the most part is pretty smooth but has one huge problem I'll get to in the negatives section. The phone works well overall. Using Android wasn't too bad either, it was nice to have access to so many apps that I'm not used to... probably not enough for me to drop my WP for an Android, but fun nonetheless. And the greatest positive of course is the price. A new unlocked phone with the specs this phone has for $170 is a pretty awesome deal, almost half of what you'd pay for the same exact phone with a different name. Now with the negatives. Not all of these will be as bad as I make them sound... I have a tendency to pick things apart and make them sound worse than I really think they are... with that said.. I'll start with the huge touch problem, and this is why it loses one star. The touch accuracy is slightly off, at least in mine. Wherever I touch it actually registers a few mm above that. Which is odd and if you play games that require touching in small areas could very much affect you. However, I will say I didn't even notice this in every day use, it only became noticeable when I was trying to touch small menu items in a game. This could be a dealbreaker for some. The rest of these are small imperfections... the biggest would be that the screen had a little circle on one of the edges that looks like someone put the screen on and left an air bubble in it. Which is ugly and annoying but being where it was, was totally unnoticeable while actually using the phone. The battery life is mediocre. It'll last all day if you aren't doing TOO much with it, but I am used to my Lumia which will last all day no matter what, multiple days even. I'm also not too impressed with the camera. It has a generic 8mp rear which is good enough but hasn't been 'great' for years now. But considering it is a 170 dollar phone, this could be considered pretty good, but my lumia has 20mp nokia awesomeness so... had to put it down here as a negative. And... it is an android phone so enjoys the pitfalls that come with the OS. If you are an Android fan you obviously are fine with it... and the stability of Android has came a long long way, but there are still some quirks non-tolerant people will find annoying. So overall, if you just want a cheap but nice little smart phone you can use on most networks, I definitely recommend trying this phone out. If you want a cheap but somewhat recent phone for testing Android apps, also recommend this phone. If you want a phone that you plan to take top notch pictures and video with, look elsewhere. If you want a perfectly sound and tight phone that doesn't have annoying idiosyncrasies, I'd recommend looking for a Windows Phone in your price range... specifically a Nokia.

Got my BLU phone yesturday and fell in love with it as soon as I turned it on
You can't beat prices of these phones! Got my BLU phone yesturday and fell in love with it as soon as I turned it on. Transfer of my prepaid service was fast and easy with this unlocked phone. Screen is bright and the operating system runs flawlessly on this phone with a quad-core processor. I had large game files and connected my Google account to test out the phone's ability to run large files and run several apps at once. NO LAG AT ALL, so far I'm shocked at the performance of this phone. Close large games in a flash, pop open the camera everything is instant! I work for a major cell phone company and work on phones all day everyday and this phone is better than most of the customer's I deal with phone's and they pay hundreds more. If your thinking about buying a BLU phone don't hesitate, the bare bones operating system on these phones works far better then my expectations. My next phone will be a BLU!!! Will update this if I find any problems.UPDATE: Okay so I've had the phone a few months now so its lost that new box excitment. Its still a great phone though. Quad core CPU and ram keeps games running smooth. Tried alot of different apps and games and so far I have not had a problem with any. For the price you can't really beat it. Ive managed to fill up the memory and its slowed a little bit. I've also noticed a issue with dialer says contacts must close error but it doesn't effect my contacts just says a message sometimes. I also had a error with a text that didn't delete for 2 weeks but it fixed itself. So far only minor issues the phone seems pretty tough to dropped it a few times. I plan on selling this one and upgrading to another BLU phone I think they are well built phones.

LTE in Canada and UK
Awesome phone. Awesome. I love that it works on LTE in both Canada and the UK, very few phones will do that.
