Arrived quicker than expected. Well done.Nice shape and good quality fabric, soft. Nice colour, it is indeed Royal Navy.My head is mid sized for a male, but there is a lot of room for a bigger one in my opinion. My cycling helmet is usually M/L - ca 58 cm plus...The Velcro at the back has been replaced with a stylish metal clasp with logo. Does the job better I suppose and again there is a lot of surplus of the band to adjust for those with bigger heads.The most important (at least for me) is that it is deep - i.e. sits well on my head and not just on the top like most of the one size fits all caps; which is not only tricky in windy conditions, but makes me look ...ridiculous. It does not go to deep either which is good.I cannot comment on its ability to repel rain yet. Still needs a proper test, but based on the previous reviews it should do the job well.I can recommend it.

Let’s start with the colour, the colour is a dark navy not light blue as the product page indicates. The fitting on this hat can only be described as strange. It’s just a little bit too deep so for whose who have little or no hair it sits too low. The hat peak is a little too long and too wide the width would normally be corrected by bending it but because of the materials used it doesn’t maintain the curve. Also the width of the peak causes the headband of the hat to flare out at the front. As result wearing it never feels comfortable because of it’s design.It is weatherproof I’ve worn it in downpours and snow, though not breathable your head feels like it’s in a soggy sauna, hot and sweaty. The sweat leaches out via the headband stitching.If you decide to wash it which after a couple of wears you will want to it gets covered in lint.Not for me.I award three ⭐️⭐️⭐️Happy shopping.

I have two of the previous design of this hat and worn them extensively. I decided to buy another one as the one I wear for work was looking a bit too well worn.The design of the adjuster has changed and the newer version slips and frequently has to be readjusted. A friend of mine also said the same.Hopefully SealSkinz will go back to the previous fastening in the future???

I wanted a cap to keep me dry when running and so far this has not disappointed, like the reviews I read it can become sweaty under the cap which is a shame as it then rather defeats the excercise of keeping you dry, I am just a bit concerned about washing the cap at this early stage as I do not want to lose any of the waterproofing but am just aware that it will start to pong of sweat after time so maybe a light hand wash in the sink bowl will be ok time will tell.

Bought as a gift. For £20 I expected decent workmanship. Arrived with cap buckle separated from fabric. Had to return the product. I did not order another.
