My large Samsonite suitcase wheels had disintegrated and the cost to repair was almost the cost of a new suitcase. These wheels were only a fraction of that cost and seemed to be well made.The only trick in installation was cutting the axle on the original wheels since they had been installed with rivets instead of being easily replaceable by using screws. I tried using a Dremel, but the old wheels had deteriorated to the point that I was cutting through a lot of plastic and rubber before getting to the axle and the Dremel kept stalling. I used a small hacksaw and that worked, taking only about two minutes per axle. The new wheels went in easily with a screw in axle and they work better and are better made than the originals. The suitcase rolls smoother than it did when new.
