Love love love
Wow where do I begin. This series has been blowing me away. I enjoyed the first book and loved the second one, but this book truly surprised me and I loved everything about this story.I think I related to Jax the most. His growth and character development was remarkable. I like how he came to terms with the root cause of his anxiety and how he was able to manage it."𝓣𝓸 𝓫𝓮 𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓭𝓮𝓶𝓸𝓷𝓼 𝓱𝓸𝓵𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓶𝓮 𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴."Elena was such a sweetheart, she made the best for herself with the life she was dealt and she did what she had to do, to give back to the most important person in her life.Jax and Elena together had me laughing. They dished it out and had a great combination of chemistry and banter. The tampon scene had me cackling, idk if it was because I was listening on audio, and the accent of the narrator combined but that was also a pretty swoony sentimentThen there was Vera (Jax mom) and I'm not sure if I've ever loved a small side character so much. For everything she was going through her character had such a heartwarming personality and it's a quality I would love to acquire as a momThis one had it all, humor, growth, and was heartbreaking as much as it was fulfilling

Wrecked wrecked me
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5Spice: 🌶️🌶️/5I thought Liam's past was tragic but Elena's was absolutely heartbreaking 😭💔Wrecked put me through the ringer. The banter between Elena and Jax was my favorite so far in the series. Their relationship was a rollercoaster. The things Jax did for Elena was unexpected and heartwarming. I was not expecting such great character development from him. My heart hurt for Elena towards the end and I wish she didn't forgive as easily but I'm glad it had an HEA.Wrecked is great for fans of F1 romance, dual POV, forced proximity, driver x PR agent, witty banter, and mental health rep.

Excellent story teller
First, I must say, do not listen to any other reviews that give one stars. Those reviews are based on the production of the actual book. It is not based off of the story. Lauren Asher can tell a really great story while keeping her readers in suspense and fully engaged. She is a readers dream writer. All of the books tell a great story. I’m not sure why some review's gives a synopsis of the story. (You can read that on the back of the books). What is important to know is that you can read any of the books alone but once you read one book, you’re going to want to read them all . She does an excellent job of writing the story as if your friend is talking to you. I have recommended this book to several of my friends and all of them have decided to go and read her collection of books. One of the other things that she does, that is highly commendable is that she has found a way to be inclusive of different ethnicities without distracting the reader by addressing the complexities and issues that may be a daily issue. I love how she keeps you focused on the story. She does what great writers do, especially when they’re writing romantic novels. They should write in such a way that you are drawn into another world, a world of countless possibilities.Having said that, this does not mean in any way that the book cannot be appreciated by specific ethnicities. The book does just the opposite anyone, from any ethnic group can read the book and fall in love with the characters that she has developed. She writes the characters with clarity and authenticity. I cannot say enough about this author without sounding as if I am in love with her. But I guess I’m actually in love with her writing. I am really grateful for her gift of expression and her talents.FYI, I have pre-ordered her next set of books.

He fights for his future while she battles her past, and together they can overcome anything
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫/5🌶🌶/4🖤 Formula 1 driver with high levels of anxiety and a family history of terminal / chronic illness (Drives for a fictional team that is Mercedes-esque)🖤 FMC is the PR rep assigned to keep him in line🖤 Dual POV🖤 Enemies to Lovers🖤 Forced Proximity🖤 A very long road to self acceptance and recoverySome important TWs: (See the full list by the author on her website) ~ Mental health rep - Anxiety, therapy, medication use (and abuse) ~ Childhood trauma - witnessing a murder, long term psychological effects / night terrors ~ Chronic & terminal illness repSo book 3 in this series took a TURN into the more serious from the first two books in the series. Where the first two books had some plot details that included some serious topics like abuse and death of a loved one.... this story went to another level.**Spoiler alert**Jax is a haunted individual. He has crippling anxiety and has turned to Xanax and partying too hard to forget about both his anxiety and some of the root causes for it. Not only does he have an extremely high pressure job, his mother has a very serious chronic illness that will inevitably cut her life short. Jax is constantly running away from his fears and anxieties about that... but at some point he can't keep running. After an extremely public and nasty incident including mixing his anxiety meds with far too much alcohol, his team brings in Elena as a personal PR babysitter to help him get back on track for the season. But Elena has her own demons. She was only a child when her parents were both murdered in her house, and she still has PTSD triggers surrounding that. Not to mention she's the only one left to be a provider and caregiver for her aging grandmother. The way the author weaves Jax and Elena together is special and powerful, but also at times extremely painful. I went through quite a few tissues as the story unfolded. They have this undeniable connection, which becomes a central and driving force for each of them, but it comes at a cost. In order to truly be together, we have to see Jax battle his demons. Luckily that battle is aided by a therapist and a modified medication regimen, but we still have to go through an absolute roller coaster with him coming to terms not only with his mother's health but also his own potential diagnosis and what that means for his life long term. We see Elena battling to overcome her own demons, all while trying to maintain a career and take care of her family. Every time you think we have reached an equilibrium, a final step towards the happy ending, we are hit with the realities of their situation and it makes this story raw and emotional and yes, it Wrecked me in the best way. This is not a story with a simple happy ending. But it is an extremely powerful one showcasing the importance of supporting the ones you love and fighting for your future together. It will stick with me for a long time."Our story won't be easy, but it's real... While he was fighting his future, I was battling my past. But together, we don't need to fight alone... We are stronger together than we are apart."

Stunning
I really love the other books in the series but Elena and Jax’s story was so heartbreaking and sweet. I like that despite the challenges their relationship had and will have they are growing and healing together. Loved it!

The best slow burn
Book 3 of the Dirty Air series and possibly the best! Book 1 was a great intro that hooks you, book 2 was a bit of a dip but it gave you a taste of what was to come in Book 3. But Book 3 here, Wrecked, was absolutely fantastic. It was the best of slow burns; it was done perfectly and I was never once irritated that we weren't "getting to the good part" fast enough. Jax and Elena's relationship was messy but beautiful. It has all the steam and spice you're wanting from this, a good amount of F1 (very important for an F1 series!), and just a lot of feel good moments. If you only read one in this whole series, this is the one I'd recommend.
