Instructions are like this: open everything up. Put rice cakes in and remove the "do not eat" packet in there. Add the sauce packet. Stir well. Add additional water, (it says 20 ml), but you can use the dotted line on the outside as a guideline. Stir again so the rice cakes are covered well inThe sauce. Put the black top on (it's microwaveable) and put in microwave for 1 and 1/2 minutes for a 1000w Microwave or 2 ~ 2 and a half minutes for a 700w microwave.Let sit for a little with the lid on as they continue to cook. Then carefully remove lid and eat.I mention this because there's a review here where it was said they were chewy but hard in the inside. Personally, I thought this tasted quite good and was cooked through well. Yes, it doesn't fill the whole cup, but I think it's because it needs space to steam and it's really a nice enough portion for a snack. If I'm reading it correctly, then there are 320 kcal per serving. I would get this again. Very tasty and good spice!

usually I love Korean foods, but this version did not meet my standards...I had to prepare my own broth with kelp and anchovies and added the Yopokki with sauce to cooked until thicken to shiny sauce. It was chewy but hard and too sweet for my taste buds ... when I put it back in the cup it was not even half a cup but just about a quarter cup...this is not an instant product and the amount for each cup is not worth the buy...better off making and sticking to making it fresh yourself . See youtube Maagchi for better results. Am very disappointed

Just enough spice, the serving size is perfect for a snack or to eat as a meal with lots of other side dishes. I ate this with some fish cake and kimchi. I looked up the directions on how to heat it up 90 seconds was perfect and I got the chewy-soft texture.

These are pretty good for instant topokki. I really followed Patjhc style of cooking them and they turned out very soft and fully cooked.Side note: I noticed that the sauce thickened as I let them cool longer. Which made them more similar to authentic topokki.
