Is this third party tested?

We test in-house for heavy metals. We don’t use a third party for testing.

Magnesium taurate contains 8.9% of elemental magnesium, 400 mgs would be 36 mgs elemental, is this right?

I weighed the tablets, each is approximately 1.530 gm. Even if the tablets were 100% magnesium taurate, which they are not because of other additives/fillers, there would only be about 300 mg of elemental magnesium (and about 2,700 mg of taurine) in the serving size of two tablets. So to get 400mg of magnesium I think the serving size would be 3 tablets, not 2... the math doesn't quite add up.

where is the magnesium and amino acid taurine derived from?

Taurine is synthesized from epoxy ethane while sea water is the starting material for the magnesium.
