Amazing bang for your buck; Unparalleled sound quality
To play music in your car that doesn't have AUX/Bluetooth, this is the best bang for your buck with great sound quality. You have near CD quality playing out of your speakers. If you have some kind of hissing/static/radio noise, make sure you lower the volume on your phone/music player. Do not ever exceed 2/3rds volume, in fact I suggest staying at phone volume of 50% for optimal sound quality, and then adjusting volume with your car stereo. This way, you don't overload your car audio unit and speakers, and avoid the breakdown in quality that occurs at higher volumes from your media player. With many options that can cost so much more, ranging from a $30 FM Transmitter, $60 Bluetooth Cassette adapters, to $600 FM Modulators, this actually has the best sound quality of all of these. These other reviews are ridiculous. "wire broke after 2 years of use, piece of garbage." Are you kidding me? For $10, you can't beat it, and you might as well just buy 3 or 4 of these so that when it does break down on you, all you gotta do is pop in a new one.

After a much frustrating search for one, I'm shocked this one works REALLY well! Despite the negative reviews...
I was heart-broken when my cassette adapter died but it was to be expected since it lasted me about 4-5 years. I instantly began searching on Amazon and it was a bit difficult to make a decision. I saw the #1 best seller but it got a lot of bad reviews, and it was a dollar or two more than this one which had a bit more positive reviews. When I made the decision to give it a shot and 2 days later, it came, I was crossing my fingers that it wouldn't make a clicking noise, it wouldn't do some odd rewind as many of the other reviewers have posted, and that clear, nice, sound would come out.I was really, REALLY surprised that not only did it work, (I drive a 95 Toyota Corolla and I connect the tape to my Galaxy S6) but it sounded AMAZING! It conveys music on all speakers (my previous one only did it on the right side...I thought it had been my car). It has no clicking noise whatsoever. Like, nada. I can put the volume on blast and it still sounds clear and really good. (Don't worry, I respect other drivers so I don't super blast my music).I'm truly soo happy with my purchase. This was one of those where I was prepared for it to be a cheap and crappy product purchase or simply just doable. It has definitely surpassed both. I don't understand why it has given others problems; perhaps its the car or device. Or maybe I have yet to encounter a problem. But so far it's going along just fine: worked on the first try; clear, amazing sound; and it didn't break my wallet. :)

Same as it ever was
Hot Darn! Just like I remember them! Expert 20th century craftsmanship. This is exactly the same headphone adapter I purchased many years ago at the store that rhymes with "Badio Crack". And this one works just as mediocre! I was not about to put a new radio into my winter beater. And now, with the help of a lightning to headphone adapter, I can now rock out like it is 1996. Sure the sound is not fantastic. But if you are rocking a cassette player in your ride, you know those speakers are blown anyway.I thought about getting of of the new fangled bluetooth cassette adapters, but who needs something else to charge. Plus then I wouldn't have this sleek black cord coming out of the obsolete orifice in my dash board.Radio wont get reception. Cd's wont play. DOES NOT MATTER! Keep on keeping on with the cassette adapter made to give you moderate enjoyment.. And rock out with your... nevermind.

worked for one week and died then
Bought it roughly a week ago and was working fine at the beginning. The audio quality is ok even tho that just the left side of my car was playing music with it. But now it just died and it is not working anymore! If I insert the cassette player it just pops out after 10 seconds and that's it.Would definitely not recommend to buy!
