A perfect case for safely transporting 2-3 cameras and audio gear
There are a dozen things I love about the Nanuk 950, and one thing that irks me. I needed a bigger case for longer shoots; something that would let me pack in 2-3 DSLRs, lens, and assorted gear. Here is everything I have packed in the photo:- 3 Canon 80Ds- 2 Canon 50mm lenses- 1 Canon 24mm lens- 1 Sigma 35mm lens- 1 Sigma 11-14 lens- Zoom H6 and top XLR mount- 2 Shure 58s- Camera cage- RODE Go wireless lavs- Hohem iSteady M6 Kit- Batteries, chargers, and plug-in adapters for all three cameras- 3 C-mount clips and a magic arm- Black Magic camera strap- two bags of wires and cables- Macbook Pro and charging cableThis all comes just under the 50lb weight restriction of many airlines, and well below the 115lb rating of whether or not the waterproof case will float. That more than covers what I need. The padded dividers inside are well thought out and easy to adjust. It feels thick enough to protect anything I put in there. The latches are strong but easy to release and fold neatly out of the way. The case itself feels very solid, but with only one lock attached the lid can be pulled up enough to get inside. get two if security is a concern (the TSA locks designed by Nanuk to fit all of their cases work perfectly with the 950 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T3RBXWT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1).Fully loaded, the bag is still relatively easy to move around with strong handles on the top and side that fold and lock away when not in use. The flat top makes it easy to stack with other gear. The pop-up handle works with one hand and locks tight. The one thing that bugs me is the price of the internal lid organizer. $180 is just too much to ask, no matter how convenient.

Nanuk 950 vs Pelican 1610
I've been using a Pelican 1610 for years as a check in suitcase, but there were a couple of things that I didn't like about it. 1. It was heavy. I know there's the "Air" line but those weren't big enough for my needs. 2. It was hard for me to get TSA lockable latches for the 1610, in fact I don't think they exist. Anyway Nanuk had such latches available right off the bat for the 950 - very easy, I was sold. I was forced to use TSA padlocks on my 1610, the problem was if the latches were open the lid could open to a 1-2 inch gap, more if someone forced it. That didn't sit well with me, but I was forced to live with it. The Nanuk keeps it shut tight AND I can also put 2 more TSA padlocks in the holes on the lid which have better steel inserts than the Pelican's steel clips. The Nanuk has a flange on the lid that hides the mating surface where the lid and the body meet when closed, I think it will help keep water out and possibly someone from prying on it too. The Pelican's mating surface on my 1610 is unprotected. My 1610 is heavier (19.5lbs) but its a bit more sturdy than my 950 (15lbs). I never weighed them but the 950 seems more than 4.5lbs lighter by picking it up. The 950 doesn't have the amount of stiffening ribs as the 1610 but it doesn't scream 'Tactical' or ' have a gun in here'. With the 950 I have less unwanted attention. With either though I'm not going to stress over my stuff being damaged, more so with the Nanuk since it most likely won't unlatch open against the padlocks like the Pelican, unless someone destroyed the main latches. But then my Pelican never did pop open (TSA always closed the latches correctly when they inspected it luckily) over the years. In the end I'm glad I bought the Nanuk 950, it's my new travelling suitcase.

Strong and perfect size
I just made a major overhaul on my photography travel gear to get size and weight down. Quality, size and price are perfect just downsized from pelican 1615 to this one.

High Quality and Performance
I purchased this for a piece of electronic test equipment. The description is very accurate and I am very pleased with the quality. I got the enclosure with the padded dividers. Well worth it. I am interested in the pocket organizer that goes in the lid but it is a bit pricey as compared to the enclosure. If you really need it and have the extra money, I am sure it is worth it. Great buy.

Tough and durable travel case for photographic equipment.
A solid case for my camera and lighting equipment. Purchased it a day before a work trip in which I needed to check my luggage (this rolling case). When the case was loaded onto the airport mini bus where I parked my car, it almost immediately fell over (driver loaded it on its side instead of flat). When I got to my hotel, everything inside was well protected. The unit rolled well over hard floors, although a bit rougher over hotel carpet (a friends hard rolling case; different brand, had the same issue). Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this purchase as well as the TSA locks that I purchased separately.

Didn't last a year.
This is my second nanuk case. First one was a 935. They are good an sturdy cases. For this one the wheels didn't last a year. The problem I have now is that they won't ship the wheels to me even if I pay for them. There are no other nanuk wheel supliers and the website have no specifications on the wheel size to see if I can buy something else.So basically this case became useless in less than a year. Nanuk staff could try and carry one of these with out wheels filled with professional photography equipment and let me know how freaking works for them...

These cases are pricy- but the quality is unmatched
I do like the Nanuk cases better than any other brand, in spite of the high price- frustrated in the fact that ALL of the accys are even more costly and some of them seem like they should be a part of the product- like the locking latches... :-/
