This is my holy grail moisturizer for winter with dry, eczema-prone skin. It works really well in Minnesota’s cold, frigid air and snow without feeling heavy or greasy like thicker creams. Even though it feels lightweight, it provides great moisture and protection. My eczema does not react to this at all, and it actually helps repair my skin barrier in areas where I get dry patches and flare-ups. I recommend applying it more than once a day during winter to help protect and strengthen your skin barrier. I also like using this in the summer before putting on makeup because it creates a smooth base and gives my skin the moisture it needs to avoid looking dry or textured under makeup.

This cream is a holy grail for anyone with sensitive, over-it skin. It calms, hydrates, and behaves beautifully with actives like tretinoin, peptides, and caffeine serums. No fragrance, no irritation, no weird film. Doesn’t sting when applied to peely, Tret-ravaged skin. It’s rich without being greasy, and actually feels like it’s doing barrier repair work. My face drinks it in like it just got out of a toxic relationship. BUT. THE. CAP. Once you open the flip-top? It’s never quite right again. It doesn’t snap shut, doesn’t click, just kind of… hovers there, forever loose and mocking you. (See pic) I’ve tried pressing, slamming it against the counter, twisting the lid back and forth (which turns the dispensing mechanism on and off - very cool), whispering sweet nothings—nothing works. It’s just defective. I now store it cap side up so it doesn’t leak. This is not how a $15–20 moisturizer should behave. ⸻ TL;DR: • Formula? 10/10 • Packaging? Gremlin-engineered • Will I repurchase? Already have—because the cream is that good • Do I side-eye the cap every time? Also yes. If Etude ever fixes the cap, this would be perfect. Until then, apply lovingly and store cautiously.

The SoonJung Intensive Cream is wonderful for sensitive skin. It’s rich and moisturizing without feeling greasy, and it really helps soothe and repair the skin barrier. Madecassoside and panthenol help calm irritation, and the pH-balanced, hypoallergenic formula feels gentle enough for daily use. My skin feels soft, hydrated, and comfortable after applying. A great Korean skincare staple I’ll keep repurchasing.

Great for irritated, acne-prone skin - but packaging could be better. have acne-prone skin and I'm always cautious with thicker creams, but ETUDE SoonJung 2x Intensive Cream has been surprisingly gentle and non-breaking-out for me. My skin is currently very irritated and compromised, and this cream has been calming, soothing, and supportive for barrier repair without clogging my pores. The texture is rich but not greasy, absorbs well, and works great when my skin needs extra TLC. I've had no new breakouts while using it, which is a big win for my sensitive, acne-prone skin. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the packaging — the snap-on lid doesn't stay closed securely, which is a bit annoying and not ideal for travel.

The rich version of this literally rescued my skin in the dry Colorado winter. I have super sensitive skin and it's a constant battle to not irritate it but also keep my skin barrier hydrated and healthy. I've been trying cerave & a few other common recommended moisturizers but they all make me break out. This one does it ALL, hydrates, soothes, doesn't break me out (an actual miracle). I slather my skin in this at night and wake up hydrated with no irritation. I feel like I'm always chasing holy grail products and then the manufacturers change the formulation and I'm on the hunt again, please Never change this cream. It doesn't have any fragrances, dyes, or other irritants. It's perfect!

I love this stuff! I just have to use a little each time and my face is moisturized. Perfect winter moisturizer, my face never once got dry which it always has. I’m excited to see how it continues to work throughout the year.

This moisturizer is so good i always come back to it no matter what else i try! its super great for sensitive, dry skin & really moisturizes without that thick oily feel on your face as its super lightweight, it has no smell or any fragrance so it doesnt cause any further irritation, & the panthenol helps soothe any concerns uprising on my face immediately!

This product solves my face dryness and helps me bring back my long lost skin barrier. I was hesitant at first since always buying my korean skin care product outside amazon to make sure it’s legit. However, I did need it asap - glad that it all worked out, it’s the real one! Thickness: In between of lotion and cream Stickiness: depends on how much you put in but it could be sticky for awhile then it settles in on your skin. Moisture level: Usually put it at night, in the morning your skin looks so vibrant, moisturized, and healthy. Value for money: Same pricing as other website - worth it! Why did you pick this product vs others?: In between dry and oily skin, using only at night and in the morning it gives the skin so much smoothness, moist, and feels more vibrant.

Used morning and night after I had peels in preparation for my wedding and it soothes and hydrates amazingly. I wanted something for super sensitive skin with clean ingredients and nothing that would make my skin react and this was the best product for all my needs. I went through one tube in around a month and a half but I did use it very heavily everyday. The cap is a bit confusing at first (I thought I got a defect product) but it’s a twist that locks and unlocks incase you’re frustrated it won’t close! The tip where the product comes out is also a little confusing at first but I’ve grown to love it as it allows me to not get too much product at one time. Overall LOVE. 100% recommend.
