I am in a wheelchair and this is the only way I can shoot great videos and photos. Best tripod
This was a gift to me and I could not be MORE HAPPY with this TRIPOD !! Not only does it allow you to , in a fast second you can go from shooting photos right in front of you and then just as fast as you can more your hands that thing moves with you, it's amazing , I use this to shoot photos of birds and flowers and dogs, I have a group on Facebook that this Tripod has truly shown its worth by the fantastic shots I get now . I did have a very good one before but NOTHING THIS GOOD, I love how the legs can flip up like they do and how small you can make the tripod, I love the ball on it so you can really flow with whatever action you are shooting with your camera. I have nothing but Great things to say about this. So durable, I am in a wheelchair and I drop things a lot, well I have broken my prior tripod just by it hitting the ground this WON'T BREAK Unless you really try hard, and as hard as I am on my equipment due to my disability , this gets an A+ FOR EVERYTHING .......You won't regret buying this at all, you will love this and fyi the colors are wonderful the rose gold ish color with the black , looks great as well as the monopod , the monopod is fantastic too, I can hold my tripod on my foot plates on my wheelchair and just ride as I take video or when I see a bird flying up high, I have even shot stars really and they came out wonderful , with out this tripod my photos were just ok now they are wonderful . I hope you enjoy this as much as I am I LOVE MY TRIPOD I just added a few photos of the tripod , it is amazing I use it every day, It is fantastic , It let's me shoot the sky then right away go right to the ground , all with a flawless move... A wonderful addition to anyone's camera and photography if you are new or experienced either way you will truly enjoy this. It is the best money I have spent aside for the money we paid for my Canon Camera I have that I bought second hand and found out later it was a five hundred dollar camera I paid only sixty dollars for.. Good luck and have fun with this ya'll it is a great tool for on the go

Must have for any videographer!
The TYCKA 56” Camera Tripod is a must-have for any photographer or videographer who wants to capture stunning shots with ease. As a professional photographer, I have used many tripods, but this one stands out for its durability, portability, and versatility. One of the things I love about this tripod is how lightweight it is. I can easily carry it around for long hours without feeling weighed down. Plus, it comes with a convenient carry bag that makes it easy to transport and protect. The 360-degree ball head is another great feature that makes it easy to capture different angles and perspectives. The quick release plate is also a handy feature that allows me to switch between camera and tripod quickly. Overall, I highly recommend the TYCKA 56” Camera Tripod to any photographer or videographer. It's a high-quality, versatile, and affordable tripod that is perfect for both indoor and outdoor photography. It has been my go-to tripod since I bought it and has helped me capture some of my best shots.

Nice Light-weight, compact tripod for travel or backpacking.
I've had this for about two months, now, so I can't speak to the long-term durability. In the short-term, it's been working very nicely. I like the compact size and light weight. It fits nicely into my photo backpack (I have an Amazons essentials photo back pack, which I will have to review elsewhere), and would fit into any other backpack, small duffle bag, or any rolling luggage. It also comes with a small over-the-shoulder bag of its own, if you want to carry it that way. There are multiple locking stops for how wide you want to splay the legs, and three folding locks for the tripod legs as you telescope them out. You can also slide the middle support up a bit, as well. I actually did full extend the legs and raise the center support to max, to shoot over a railing. Long, nighttime exposures, with a super wide angle lens. The results were quite nice, but, again, this was with a super wide angle lens. I don't know how they calculate the maximum payload weight. It might be that they know the leg supports would telescope back in if you over load it? I haven't come anywhere close to that point. The legs are definitely spindly if fully extended. The heaviest load I shot with was with a Sigma 100-400mm C lens, which is only supposed to weigh about 2.5 pounds (though it seems heavier!). I shot a Nikon D3400, so that's also pretty light. However, because there is no collar mount for the Sigma lens, you've got the 2.5 pounds of lens leaning out in front of the camera. That's enough torque to make adjusting the tripod a little tricky. You need to tighten the ball head lock with the lens pointing a bit above target, as it will still sag a bit after tightening. Especially noticeable when you're shooting telephoto. On the other hand, when I was shooting super wide angle, everything moved smoothly and locked down tightly. If you can keep your payload balanced, that's how things should be. In other words, I think the camera movement upon tightening is more a function of the lens design than the tripod design. On a more general note, these ball head mounts are just wonderful for shooting dslr. In contrast to the old pan-and-tilt mounts, these are much quicker and easier to get level for either panorama or portrait mode, especially for lighter and well-balanced loads. As noted above, with the long and unbalanced telephoto lens, it was a little tougher, but still easier than with a pan-and-tilt. However, if you do want to pan, there is the built-in bubble level. I may add a few shots taken while using the tripod, just to demonstrate the stability.

Sturdy, Low Cost Tripod
I had bought the AmazonBasics 60-Inch Lightweight Tripod with Bag and one of the leg latches broke within a month. I decided to spend a little bit more and try to get a more durable product. So far I’m mostly satisfied. It seems to be well made and comes with a two year warranty which is great. On the Amazon Basics tripod the quick release latch was in the form of a lever. This tripod quick release uses a knob to tighten the quick release foot onto the base. I wasn’t sure I would like this system as much as the otherl but it turns out to be very fast and effective. I haven’t had to worry about my camera falling out. It’s not the lightest tripod out there but it’s still very lightweight. I have no problem carrying it with me on hikes. It comes with a carrying bag that has a strap. I would love to use it but the strap doesn’t adjust long enough to go across the chest. A little longer strap would have made a huge difference. The legs are easy to extend and collapse. The latches are tight but don’t take a lot of force to open and close. You can adjust the angle of the legs making the whole thing adaptable to pretty much any terrain. This is my first ball-head, 360 degree tripod. I’ll never go back to any other kind. My only complaint is that the knob that locks it into place doesn’t seem durable enough for a heavy camera in a tilted position. With my Nikon camera body and a 70-300 zoom lens, there is a little movement after it’s locked if it’s pointed up or down. The plastic insert that you tighten against the ball just doesn’t seem strong enough to hold everything in place perfectly. I haven’t converted this into the monopod yet but I love the option to do that.

Great Tripod but breaks easily
First off, it's a great tripod. Its compact, and it works just fine. There's some weight to it, and it feels durable, but one of the metal discs in the joint that allow it fold the legs, got bent and that prevented me from opening the leg. I reached out to Tycka, and sent in pictures, and their solution was just give me my refund back, which is might generous of them. I would have preferred they send me a new one or at the very least, a placement part. I did plan on just buying a new one, because that's just how much I loved it, but before I did I asked what could have caused the plate to bend, and they told me cause I dropped it or crashed it. I have not crashed or dropped it. I always keep it tucked and strapped in my backpack when not in use. I would have remembered if I dropped if it was in use since my camera would have been on it, and honestly I think it's durable enough to survive being dropped once or twice. After being told the possible causes of damage, I severally doubt it was that durable to begin with, and I don't think I'll be buying a new one.

THIS TRIPOD WAS MADE FOR CONTENT CREATORS , IT CAN TAKE A BEATING!
I have moved twice in the last 8 months, Toss it around, dropped it (almost broke my camera)... Walked into it and almost died in the middle of the night while going to the bathroom. It took a min to figure out but I finally was able to turn it into a monopod which is great for on the go vlogging. It has a 360 swivel head ,AND the camera mount is removable which is also great if I need to moved the camera but dont require the whole tripod. Over all not one scratch or dent. It is extremely amazing quality and extremely sturdy. At first I was a bit confused as to why I paid nearly 70$ for a tripod. However when it arrived It came with a carry case, a small velvet pouch which I just slide my g7x mrk ii and batteries into, And another pouch which i put all the extra tools the tripod came with in, some of those tiny wrench things ( like the one you get when you have to put together an ikea desk idk how to really call them) THIS TRIPOD WAS MADE FOR CONTENT CREATORS! The manufacturers though of every little detail. To make this very easy to use and build up and pack away. Whether you do sit down videos or on the go vlogs it does its job and above.

Good value for money.
I use this with my Olympus EM5 mirrorless system, and it works great. Obviously, when you're looking at inexpensive, compact tripods there will be some trade-offs, but overall I'm quite pleased. Pros: * Excellent value for cost. * Compact and reasonably light-weight. * Quality workmanship. * Flip-locks make setup and teardown quick. This is one of my favorite things about this tripod. I'll never do twist locks again. * Sturdy for such a small and light tripod. * Quick release is compatible with 50mm Arca Swiss plates. * Detachable monopod. * Being able to flip the head down to the bottom makes it also useful for macro photography close to the ground, or for table-top product photography. Cons: * I frequently wish it were just a bit taller. Of course, then it wouldn't be so compact, so... * The ball head can be a bit fiddly, but again that's the nature of the beast. I prefer pan and tilt heads. As ball heads go, though, at least this one is stable once you get it into position. (At least, with my light-weight setup.)

Very good tripod in many ways for the money!
This tripod does what I need for a daily driver in the form factor I have been looking for. It is light but well constructed. It is one of the more compact models I have used. The head is smooth and holds my EOS R just fine even with my telephoto mounted. The tripod is versatile meaning the center pole can be inverted so you can got close to the ground or say above water. One of the legs can be used as a monopod. It also comes with a short shaft which doubles for hand holding my rig when vlogging! Easy to set up and break down. I took it on a trip and dies not take up much room in my carry on suitcase nor in my pack. I am really glad I purchased this and I am sure I will get tons of use out of it.
