Makes old pumps work better than new I flushed mine and used the synthetic to help with extreme cold weather made steering have way better operation. Give yours a flush and put this in well worth it.

My car is parked outside in very cold weather . Power steering was making noise . This fluid stopped the noise and made steering very smooth .

2008 Kia Sedona was whining with revs. At its age, I suspected belt/tensioner/pulley so I replaced all three. Whine still present, so I pulled then "brake cleanered" reservoir, pumped old fluid out. No more whine and PS working great. Tbh it felt ok before but feels so much better now, as I do having saved prob ~ 100 via DIY(and prob ~200 for belt/pulley/tensioner btw).

I sucked out whatever fluid was in the reservoir of my recently purchased 1990 Camry.Replaced it with this PS fluid. Seemed to settle down some of the quirks in the system when cold.I will re do that procedure after I drive it some more.
