Smaller than others, but very sensitive. I usually wear high dollar aids that filter out background noise much better, but they still failed to pickup some voices I was trying to hear. These, even on the very low settings would pick up those voices. Work great too, for listening to TV without having TV volume up very high. Because they amplify all sounds, I don't believe they are for general everyday use. However, for specific occasions, without a lot of background noise they work great, especially, for the price. Only had them a couple weeks & have not encountered any problems.

I should have paid better attention to the other reviews. Right out of the box, one of them did not work. I tried the other and it wasn't terrible for the price, so I called the "support" number in the packaging. They asked for an order number. When I told them I bought it on Amazon, they refused to help and told me to go directly to Amazon. I am returning the product because it doesn't work when it is brand new and the manufacturer will not give support for the product as promised.

For over 5 years I've reluctantly accepted the decline in my hearing, to a point where participation in conversations was discouraging and mutually frustrating, But the costs for "real" hearing aids are so outrageous and a fraudulent ripoff. (I'm a former tech and know the real "technology" cost of the devices is less than $10.00.) From the moment I turned them on, that all changed. AMAZING!!! I CAN afford regular hearing aids but refuse to succumb to such a sucker play. Make no mistake, there are enhanced program features that I would prefer: selective frequency, tone control, noise cancellation, and also, custom fit, etc.. But for $40, these are a great and inexpensive start. BUY THEM. and try reentering the world of social conversation. Oh, I've turn the TV volume down from 25-30 to 15... the family loves it. W.A. The product arrived as pictured and Every thing just fine. My own voice seemed to have a hollow echo. But I could definitely hear everything around me including the TV and other people just fine. I had a little trouble getting them to stay behind my ears at first. And on getting the right size ear plug to fit into my ear canal. When you change ear plugs, you need to be very sure the ear plug is definitely secured to the headphone connector; otherwise it cone off and get stuck into your ear canal. This happened to me : and I had a little trouble in getting the stuck ear plug out of ear canal. But all in all; I finally got everything to work. And with my longer hair, I was able to cover up the wires. And so the hearing aids were almost completely invisible. This was a nice plus . But the even nicer plus was that I could hear conversations better than I had heard them in years.

This thing is trash. I followed the instructions to a tee and the amplifier went on and off constantly starting the very first time i wore them. After trying them on over and over again i finally chucked them out as far as I could throw them. So mad. Pure junk. I got ripped off big time. Terrible, terrible product. Buy the $150 Bangljion Amp hearing amplifier. It it awesome. Cheap ones suck.
