Initial impressions after using these for an hour with the family. These much better (and faster) than the bats you normally get in kit. I would classify them as excellent bats for home use. You can give the ball some spin, reasonable control and they are well made. Note rubber has not fallen off as many have suggested. I bought them from used from Amazon warehouse, a quick clean and they were as good as new. Now they can be bashed and left outside, taken on holiday etc, and do not need to worry too much about them. (To add perspective, many years ago, I played at local club level, with bat with specific Butterfly rubbers, which I glued on myself)

Not having played for 23 years we had some difficulties.ping pong is not like riding a bike in this aspect! Spent much time picking ball up from the floor. The bats and balls were fine but needed to get used to from what I remember bats used to be like. How I hold my bat meant the curve between bat and handle rubbed against the skin between thumb and forefinger. It needs to be smoother as it is rougher to the touch than on the handle itself My partner did not this problem Also it was extremely difficult to remove the plastic protection from the red side of one of the bats. It required me to relearn a long forgotten technique and took 10-15 minutes. With the other 3 sides of the bats there was no problem

Lo primero que se nota es que son de marca JOOLA. Se ven bien hechas, el mango de madera es cómodo y las gomas tienen suficiente grosor como para darle efecto a la pelota sin complicarse. No son raquetas de competición de alta gama, pero para pasar un rato jugando en el garaje o en el jardín son más que suficientes. Las pelotas están bien, son de las de tres estrellas que ves en muchos sitios. Botan bien y son duraderas. La funda es un detalle que agradezco mucho, porque así no se pierde nada y se puede llevar fácilmente a cualquier parte. Es justo lo que esperaba de un set a este precio: cosas sencillas, pero de calidad. Junto con una red portátil que pillé aparte, tienes un kit completo para montar partidos en cualquier mesa. Para ser un regalo, es perfecto porque es útil, está bien presentado y no falla.
