If reloading the trimmer wire is an issue, this single piece will not do the trick. I learned from experience. While my trimmer was just spinning without reloading, I thought this part was the problem. It may be the right part if your trimmer is working and this may have broken (like a crack). But it will not fix a reload problem. I ended up purchasing the entire head unit for almost twice the price from Amazon, and it proved to be the best way to go.
