I was using a competitor's product to clean my grinding guard, but wanted to try a different brand. This was the most economical alternative I could find - 120 tablets will actually last me a long time since I soak my grinding guard once a week at most.What I like about this product Vs. my old one is that this one rinses better. After soaking my grinding guard in the solution for the max. 15 minutes, I did a good rinse and there was zero after-odor or taste.However, like other enzymatic cleaners of this sort, this one still would not remove the calcium deposits on my guard - i.e. the white coating that starts to cover the area where the guard meets the teeth. For that I discovered that you need to soak the grinding guard in white vinegar and then brush it (Warning: Do not soak in vinegar if there is any metal in your appliance). I soaked the guard for an hour and used a tooth brush to scrub the white stuff off. So far I got 75% of it off. I will try a second time when I have some more time.Otherwise this is a good product for what it is, and I would recommend it to anyone using a retainer, dentures, or a plastic mouth guard of any type.

This product works great to keep my oral Sleep Apnea appliance nice a clean. I soak the appliance in the solution every morning as soon as I take out the appliance for the day. My intent is to leave the appliance in the solution for about 1/2 hour. On occasion I have forgotten and left the appliance in a little longer. I understand that is not good for the appliance to lave it in the solution for a long time, so I avoid that. Thankfully I have not noticed any damage.

At first I was nervous about using this solution with my Invisalign trays but my fears were surely replaced with delight. I have a friend that also has Invisalign and he doesn't use any cleaner on his and simply rinses them off.Using Dental Duty my trays look as clear as brand new out of the package, if not better. My friend's however without using a cleaning solution and water only cloud and just don't look all that good as time progresses.In cleaning my Invisalign trays I remove them one at a time and rinse them on removal. Then I drop them into a tray holding only water. Once both trays are in the cleaning tray I drop in a Dental Duty tablet in the middle of the water between the Invisalign trays. The tablets quickly begin to create bubbles as they dissolve in the water. There is a blue hue to the water from the tablets as the action takes place. When I go to put the trays back in my mouth I simply remove them from the cleaner and get them wet with cold water. I prefer to put the Invisalign in wet.I have use the cleaner in as little time of 15 minutes and have kept them in the solution as long as 12+ hours (I know the Invisalign should be in your mouth 22+ hours daily but some times I'm bad). Regardless of the time the Dental Duty has worked out well for me and there was no worry of damage to the Invisalign. I would suggest that you leave the trays in the cleaner for 30+ minutes for the best effectiveness.I Highly Recommend this cleaning solution.PROS:- Works great for Invisalign- Keeps Invisalign looking clean and clear- Will not damage if you leave the Invisalign in for extended time- Bubbling action helps in the cleaning process- Water looks blue during cleaning- Excellent product highly recommend- Nice price as of 8/2018CONS:- None at this time

The tablets do a good job of keeping my night guard clean. I used to get calcium buildup on the night guard but that has stopped. I even pop my toothbrush in the cup to clean that too.

I bought this product to clean my night guard. I chose this one over other similar ones out there, mainly because of the good reviews it has received and its price. Before that I used to clean my night guard with one of the recommended methods, that is brushing it each morning with a toothbrush with some dish detergent on it (I use Dawn for that matter.) Apparently a dishwasher liquid is preferable over a toothpaste which could be abrasive and damaging to your n.g. over time. I then dry my n.g. and place it in its storage case till I use it the following night. My n.g. has remained clean and white like it was when I received it. Which makes me wonder at some of the reviews of others reporting a yellowing of their night guard. (note: I'm not a smoker and my teeth are in good healthy shape.) The use directions of this product recommend that you actually clean your n.g or retainer before you actually submerge it to the solution to be cleaned. So although I use it, in all honesty I can't tell you whether it works or not, or if it does a better job from just brushing my n.g. only. I really don't see any difference on my n.g. from before I started to use this product and after I started using it. So I basically use it in... 'good faith' that it does what it advertises and because of the good reviews it has received from other buyers / users. I realize that this review might not be the most useful to you, but I can only report to you what I see to be the case. The decision whether to buy it or not now rests on you.
