Super tall and fluffy, with great taste - never soggy
In reading other reviews it may be the cooks were in too much hurry? The key is preheating your pan, letting the batter sit a couple minutes, and I use a whisk to blend my batter. I get extra tall pancakes every time, with a light great flavor. I use the initial water directions, then let the batter sit a few minutes. While it’s sitting, I preheat my non stick pan, and use PAM cooking spray. I use a large serving spoon to portion my batter - you can use a measuring cup sprayed with Pam too. I dole out 4 equal pancakes using 1 cup mix to 1/2 cup water in my 12” non stick Le Creuset skillet. I cook them to start on med high heat, then when I flip them, turn to medium. They are nicely done, do NOT get soggy when pouring on syrup or spreading jam/butter, and have a nice taste (better than other store box brands). You can add fruit or nuts (I like chopped pecans) before you turn the pancakes, and can up your protein by using milk etc. This is my number one go to quick mix for pancakes, over any other brand I’ve tried in 40 years.

Good mix
I read online that this is the best pancake mix so I gave it a shot. I thought it was a little dense and makes thick pancakes. The flavor was fine though.

Just Add Water, Get Great Pancakes
Fluffy results with minimal effort. Non-GMO, kosher. The King Arthur name means quality ingredients. 16oz makes a reasonable number of pancakes. Weekend mornings, simplified. Good thickness and cook time and can be prepared quickly.

Great Pancake Mix!
You can't go wrong with pancake mixes. And there are a couple others I use too but what I love about King Arthur's is, the flavor stands out. It is really good. I also get Dolly Partons and Pearl Mining Co. mix too and those 2 taste very similar. They are good for sure but when you want something that doesn't taste like every brand then King Arthur is the way to go. I like this flavor the best for sure.

Easy to make for people with egg allergies
I discovered a long time ago that I had an egg allergy, and had to cut out a lot of the baking/pastry meals before starting to find substitutes over the past year or so. I originally found this pancake mix at a local store, and have been kind of obsessed with them for a couple months now. They're super easy to make just by adding water, letting it set for five minutes, and then cooking on the stove. It makes a good batch of small pancakes as well as large. The batter usually makes them thick, which is great. The only issues that I've been consistently facing is that they sometimes fall apart when I flip them or put them on a plate - despite the fact that they are thoroughly cooked through. Sometimes a big piece will fall off, it 'll break in half, or little chunks are left all over the place. The other small issue is that I prefer my pancakes to be a little moist with maple syrup but I don't want my plate drowning in it. The pancakes really soaks it all up like a sponge but when I'm eating, I'm not tasting the maple syrup. I'm left wondering how much more should I put on or where does it all go. I really do enjoy this brand of pancakes - it's not really an issue to try to see if there's a different technique to stop the breakage or maple syrup distribution. But I may try some of their other mixes to see if it's a consistency with their products or perhaps try some other ones out there.

Third Generation King Arthur Customer
I really like this mix. It's perfect for when I just want to occasionally make two or three pancakes for myself in the morning and it's not so big that I'll never finish it before it goes bad. It tastes really good. I sometimes add a little bit of sugar to the mix but I like a sweeter pancake. I really like that you just add water. Some of those kinds of mixes can have weird ingredients but I trust King Arthur products. I'm at least the third generation in my family to prefer their flour over any other brand.
