Barbie SWAN BALLERINA from Swan Lake (Collectibles) Mattel

I collect Barbies and am especially fond of the various "ballerina" Barbie dolls. They are graceful, articulated so as to be poseable in various dance positions, and their faces are always so lovely. This doll was no exception. The "Swan Lake" ballerina Barbie has real eyelashes and a sweet smile; her hair is a pretty mass of brown curls. She stands "en pointe" and is easy to arrange in various graceful positions, and her white "swan" costume is authentic and detailed. I love the excellent articulation of these dolls, the ball joints and extremely flexible waists in particular. These are collector dolls, not really intended for children, at least not very young ones; but an older little girl (and ballet student) would really enjoy posing this doll and displaying her to admire. Highly recommended for collectors and young ballerinas.

This doll is beautiful, she has brown eyes with slight hazel in the middle, dark brown hair and a white platter tutu. The collectors item is simply sophisticated and Devine. Just like Odette from Swan lake. Simply the best doll.

I saw it on a magazine in China when I was young, then I thought I must have it till 20 years later, finally I owned it. So lovely!
