I bought this as a gift. Lovely packaging and a beautiful bar of moisturiser. I've tried it and it's a lovely hand moisturiser with a lovely fresh scent (orange/lime). In my experience, it soaked in well to my hands and left my skin soft, and was not sticky or tacky afterward. This is going to last a long time because after 5 months of using it most days it still retains its original shape and pattern. So, looks like being good value too. The tin is larger than the bar but this doesn't seem to matter in the use or carrying of the bar. It's great for cutting out plastic packaging and rather lovely as a gift and useful item.

Love this hand cream bar. I bought the Gardeners hand balm , it smells amazing . A small rub on your hands is all you need. Its the first time I have bought one of these, but I will most definitely be ditching my old hand creams for this . I love thats its all natural ,comes in a tin not expensive and its made in the uk . This will be my forever hand care from now on .

Smells great, a bit like a Thornton's Orange Chocolate Cream but I think I'd buy something in a tube or bottle next time (Yes I know, not very eco friendly. I'll recycle. ) as it all feels a little messy once applied and takes a good while to sink in. Lovely tin though, worth the purchase in itself.

This hand cream bar is absolutely gorgeous! My hands get so dry from gardening and housework/hand washing and this melts in so well, leaving them soft, and cared for without feeling greasy which is a huge bonus. It absorbs in well without leaving a film on your skin. It starts as a bar but melts down into a thinner handcream. It's such a good size as it's portable and easy to hold but without being too big. The beeswax, cocoa butter and coconut oil combo is so rich and soothing, and it also smells really lovely which makes it a pleasure to use. It's really gentle, but still really effective. Honestly such a thoughtful gift idea too as it's such good value for money. I’d be thrilled to receive anotehr one.

As others have pointed out, these moisture bars are impeccably designed and the tin is high quality too. The bar itself is very moisturising but the smell is dreadful. I would strongly recommend the seller provides samples of the other versions through giving a pellet (like a chocolate button size) so a person can see if they like the scent. This one is overpowering and headache inducing. A real shame, hence the three stars

I 've ordered these solid hand creams before as presents and they were well received. I ordered more as presents and decided to keep the gardener one for myself. It has a gorgeous very natural smell. The application was not too greasy and absorbed easily into the skin. When rubbing it on it, it's just enough no risk of applying too much like creams on tubes. I love the packaging too.l think l will keep the rosewood one for myself as well. Great as a stocking filler or secret Santa gift for someone who likes a bit of luxury.

What sort of wizardry is this? Due to lots of handwashing my hands have developed painful cracked bleeding skin and burning dermatitis. I have tried everything from specially formulated dermatitis products to standard hand creams, none have worked and all give me some sort of painful reaction after use. A couple of days ago I saw this product and thought it couldn't hurt to try, to be honest not holding out much hope of it working. I ordered it, thinking the packaging was really lovely and I could put it in the downstairs toilet for guests to use if it did not work for me. It arrived yesterday afternoon, I opened it straight away and rubbed it in my hands and over the dermatitis, expecting the usual intense burning like I have had with other products. But it gave no reaction at all. At first it felt sticky and I was a little worried it would stay that way, but it soon went, the smell was OK, I applied it again before bed last night. Now last night was a tough night, with more than usual handwashing, around every 15 minutes. This morning I woke and ALL of the usual symptoms of tight, cracked, dry, bleeding and burning skin have gone! If I move my fingers the tightness around the dermatitis areas which usually cracks creating new cuts have completely gone! I have not seen my hands without dermatitis for years. I could cry happy tears! Absolutely brilliant product, I will be buying again!

This is my second solid handcream bar (first one was received as a gift). The little tin fits perfectly in my purse. The bar smells so good. The cream isn't heavy or greasy. It lasts through a handwashing and leaves my hands feeling soft.

Practical is good but when you want a LUXURY gift, this is it...saw this hand cream bar on a client's desk...I was intrigued by the "old timey" feel...it took me back to another century. I had to look it up lol Hand made in Scotland with all natural ingredients? I was in! Glad I bought this for my son who has everything. Nice looking tin, great scent, not overwhelming. It takes several turns in the hands to get it going but it is not sticky or greasy. It made a really unusual and special stocking stuffer!

Product smells nice and does a good job of moisturizing; but it was a bit slippery/too buttery for me. Would use it after a long bath. But probably not as I’m walking out the door or trying to open a jar of anything .

Smells amazing. Took a little getting used to, now I love it!

The lotion works ok but I don’t care for the scent at all. Thankfully in this case, the scent does not linger long.
