I was a sad camper when wigwam stopped making the ironman socks. Unlike nearly every other I've tried, they stayed up instead of slipping down and bunching around my arches.These are even better!!! They fit better than any socks I've ever worn. There is a left and a right (and they are labeled), so they can provide arch fit and support. They come in XL, a great plus for my size 13 dogs. I may stop wearing full height socks altogether.Not "would" buy again, WILL buy again.

“One size fits all” low cut socks don’t work well for my size 12 foot. Invariably the back end works it’s way down my heel. But the only place I’ve found socks sized for a bigger foot is on Amazon, and some I’ve bought really weren’t that much longer than the 8 to 12 style. I was skeptical about the off brand “Fitrell, so bought it along with an American brand I was familiar with… but the Fitrell brand our my favorites! They have rubber stripes strategically located on the bottom of the arch, which seem to prevent slippage, and a double thick layer on the back that makes them easier to pull on. Well designed with good quality cotton.

I purchased these 2 months ago, so I am writing this review after having worn and washed ALL of these pairs of socks multiple times.I was a bit skeptical when I ordered these, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort immediately upon using them for the first time.I'm a size 12.5-13, and the fitment is perfect for me with the 12-15 sized socks. Padding on the ankles was way better than expected, and exactly at the right height to avoid my ankles rubbing on the back of my shoe when I ride my bike. They are extremely soft, are well put together and have held up perfectly after several washes. I ride almost every day, and have washed these probably 4x so far, as I typically wear them 2-3x before washing. So far, no issues with the padding, stitching or wearing out. The thickness is great, especially in the toes and ankles, and I am extremely happy with these!

These socks are the okayest. I bought some fancy running socks on vacation for $20 a pair (I know!). They are great and fit perfectly so they just peep up from inside the shoe. These are only ok. They look the same but the fit is off. While the fancy running socks barely peep up over my shoes, these are so long, they go up to my ankle bones. While that would be perfect if I wanted ankle-length socks. But I bought these to be nearly invisible. Day-before-yesterday I bought a pair of Smartwool running socks (also expensive) and they fit just above the shoe as expected, so it is not just me, it is the sock. (Note: I wear a size 9.5US shoe. Also, I no longer run unless being chased by an armed assailant. Such an attack is merely hypothetical at this point in my life but maybe I should start running to prepare.)
