Just what I needed to run my from laptop's HDMI to my large monitor's DP input.Good quality- Nice and thick and durable.

I did not know much about Display ports until recently and for me they seem to be one of the better choices if you can get it because you can do more with this type of cable.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I got 2 of these, the 6 ft  ISNOWOOD Gold Plated Connector DisplayPort1.2 to HDMI Cable, Multi-layers Shield,Chip bulit-in 6FT  version and the 10 ft version for the wife's desktop setup and mine with a coupon code from the seller posted on a deal site. For context, I'm not the type that typically purchases the $50 Monster cables. I've been using $10 and less HDMI cables for my TV and even cheaper ones for my desktops. That should serve as a basic disclaimer that this review is not for the audio/video philes out there. I'm neither equipped nor qualified to be doing so. My review is primarily based on 3 simple criteria - construction/material of cable, conformity to product description and perceived quality of video. For reference, I'm moving from a DP to DP connection on one PC and DVI to DVI on another so those will be my basis for comparisons here.Packaging: The cables arrived in ziploc-style plastic bags inside the typical Amazon brown box. Nothing fancy here but they were well protected. Secured simply by zip ties. Underwhelming packaging with no brand names but I wasn't expecting much at this price point. The cable ends themselves were protected with plastic covers as is typical these days.Size and quality: The cables were true to size and the I was pleasantly surprised (and relieved) to find that these were nice, sturdy and thick cables. The DVI I was moving from on the wife's PC was probably half the thickness. The ends were gold plated as described but they were on the lighter side. This wasn't a consideration for me but worth noting for those who are comparing with other higher end brands. I'm not sure if that's a factor in corrosion and longevity of the connectors but worth a mention.Picture quality: Like I mentioned previously, I'm no expert at profiling video quality but I was very happy with the output. On the PC where I previously had DP cables, I didn't see much difference. The picture looked just as good as before. On the other hand, the PC that was upgrading from a (thin) DVI connection showed a vast improvement. The picture was much more crisp and visually the color was more impressive. I've attached some pictures and a video of 1080P playback. These were taken on my cell phone so they don't do justice and I do apologize for the auto-focusing seen in the video when transitioning from light to dark scenes.In conclusion, these are great cables for the price. I don't know how long they'd last but they seem well constructed and I saw no visual imperfections in the picture quality switching over to these. If anything I saw a slight improvement over my previous setup. There are probably more fancier ones out there but these work just fine for my setup, where I surf, watch videos, work and rarely play PC games.

I purchased this product by mistake because I am not a tech savvy person. Surprisingly it worked very well with my other dilemma that I couldn’t figure out for months. It’s extremely strong. Stronger than I expected and the length was PERFECT! I tried it on my son’s Xbox first. The gaming and movie picture were so CLEAR. I then tried to use it with my computer. I like to entertain my guests 6with the outside TV for our sport events when throwing a get together. Surprisingly the outdoor TV picture was PERFECT! I’ve gone to other retailers to purchase these types of wiring before but never did I find one so strong and long. I am going to purchase a second one for a project in my bedroom which I will need to run it through the wall. Had I not made this mistake in purchasing this item, NEVER WOULD I HAVE FOUND OUT IT WAS THE BEST WIRE OUT THERE EVER MADE! I highly recommend this product. It’s the very best worth and at a very affordable price, made extremely WELL!
