I suffer from shoulder and lower back pain. This has been amazing. This has helped with pain. Love all the modes it has. I specially use the acupuncture mode. They quality feels good and not cheap quality like others in the market.

Once I learned how to operate it and control both leads it was easy to use. You may not think that it is working until after you use it. It makes a small improvement with each use. I bought it to help with sciatica flares. After two treatments a day of 20 minutes each over a two days I noticed a difference. I placed one electrode over the right sacroiliac point, one at the point of my hip pain, one on the underside of my thigh right above my knee and the fourth about 4-5inches above the other.

I was having pain in my thumb joints in both hands. No idea what was causing it but being 76 years old I guess your body doesn't need a reason. When this started I would try deep tissue massage on my thumb joints. This helped but was a pain in the butt. On a whim I decided to try the Tenker EMS Tens Unit. It took a bit to navigate the controls because it has multiple channels and button controls to adjust the intervals and intensity of the electrical stimulation. There are multiple selections to adjust the way the pulse comes on some starting gradual and increasing intensity, other settings using strong pulses. The options are impressive. Without total mastery of the controls, I managed to get a good test on my first usage adjusting the signal strength to a level that was not too uncomfortable. I was amazed at the results. I noted at least a 80 percent reduction in pain in my thumb joint on the first usage. The relief seems to last for weeks but whenever the ache starts kicking up the Tenker Unit really does help give extended relief. I have never approached the maximum power setting but I am only using this across my thumb joint. larger body parts may require more power. I am very satisfied with this item and would recommend it to a friend that was experiencing any kind of joint or muscle pain.

I bought this as a Christmas Gift for my husband, but I ended up using it. I saw a you tube video on foot pain, to attach the electrode pads to the foot pain area and do what you can tolerate. I did this and it worked!! I used it 20 min and It was 90% better! So I have used it a few more times and the pain is 99% gone! Sometimes I forget it even used to hurt. I have complete feeling in my foot, nothing changed but the pain is gone! I am so thankful!!! I can be me again, working, walking, cleaning, anything. Explain the pain I had before I used it - Boy did I have foot pain, for like 6 months! I was using a cane and I'm only 54yrs old ! It felt like I had blisters under my foot. (Just one foot), no reason for it either, It just happened. I tried changing shoes, foot stretch exercises, foot rubs, pain killers (didn't help), Epsom salt foot baths and just staying off it. It looked perfectly normal and wasn't swollen at all - so it was weird. But I got to the point where I never left my house because it hurt so bad. Even had my groceries delivered because I couldn't walk. I wanted to cut my foot off and put a wheel there! It was awful! I am just so thankful for the TENKER EMS TENS Unit Muscle Stimulator!

The result of turning everything into pictograms rendered a fair idea into something impossible to navigate, given the tree structure and the reset to default following an error. It has both TENS and EMS functions but it doesn't distinguish them in sub-menus or even mention them by name. Muscle stimulation for gain is both encouraged and strongly discouraged and you are left with reinterpreting the pictograms - because there are no labeled functions that help you to make sense of it. Honestly, all of the parameters involved are very few and very simple. Anybody can figure them out in half an hour with no training at all. And since a few patterns are used over and over, it does make sense to program them into one routine. That's my rant. If you can find one you like and can get there and back, it's not a bad unit. Very small, some mechanical buttons on the lower front, and a blue LCD screen. Nearly any of the settings can be used for TENS pain relief, so I rate this a 4 and I knocked one off for the Interface from Hell.
