blends very well
After using henna/indigo for years on my almost 50 year old hair, I have decided to let it grow in whatever color is my natural color which I am pretty sure is 85% white/grey/silver. I am now 6 weeks in and probably have 1" of contrasting growth. (pictured) THIS product is perfect! I part my hair before curling it to see what roots will be exposed and then pat this product on to cover whatever shows. I then style my hair as normal and maybe pat a little more on if more shows. As you can see from the picture it really covers the contrasting roots well and blends in pretty well to the old henna/indigo treated hair. It also seems to act as a "dry shampoo" because I noticed I can go 3 days without a shampoo when I normally would wash my hair every other day. Overall ... this is perfect as I start my journey of "going grey".UPDATE … I am 3+ months in and have a decent amount of “grey”. I decided to update with a side by side comparison of how well it is still working. This powder really cuts down the demarcation. It also has great staying power. Loved it so much I bought another to get me through the next couple of months.

Better Value Than GHD
This is a great value, compared to Joan Rivers Great Hair Day, which I have been using for several years. The color is accurate. I got the medium brown, but with GHD I have to get the blonde. So far, it works just as well as GHD, but if you do the math, this is a better value. You get only a little more of GHD, but it costs nearly $30, so I will be ordering this again. I don't use the little puff that comes with it, but rather a soft brush; I feel like I waste less that way. Recommend.UPDATE: Another reviewer said the medium brown they received was red. They must have gotten a bad batch, or maybe it was mislabeled. I would send it back. The medium brown I received was the true color.

Touch-Up That Works!
This is great for root touch-ups, especially for grey hair that can grow faster than you can get to the beauty shop. The color is for brunettes without any warm tones to cover up. This can be used for blondes who have dark roots that are growing out with some gray they want to cover. (That is actually my hair color situation). For those who have more warmer colors growing in, I would recommend the warm brown color this product makes.

Pro tip
Was using Joan Rivers product which is similar ...only 4x the price! So happy to find Melange which is actually a much better product bc it doesnt rub off...so I'm using less. Im a dark brunette that's nearly 50 % Grey...so I really need this between colorings. I went with brown instead of black for a more natural blend. I can go a full day or 2 without reapplying. The only benefit to Joan Rivers product is the applicator brush which I'm now using with Melange and it's making Melange last much longer then using the sponge that it comes with. Get yourself a small bristle make up brush for precise application and to avoid waste. That little brush makes it last much longer...so its worth the investment.

Couldn't open product
I really never even got to try the actual product. It was sealed with a heavy shrink clear plastic to avoid spilling I would assume. After using the tip of a sharp paring knife to try to break the seal between the lid and the plastic bottom with no luck, I then tried to use a new razor blade. Still no luck. I have three cuts on my fingers when the knife slipped so I feel it's not really worth anymore. Sending back. Wouldn't recommend
