I am a mom of a 2 year-old who has had eczema since birth. As of late it is a mad challenge to find ANYTHING that will reduce the red, dry patches and eliminate the constant itching!!! She scratches so much she ends up bleeding resulting in scabs and more itching. The only relief has been a regimen of a bleach bath followed by Lush's Dream Cream. It worked somewhat to moisturize without causing more redness or outbreaks but the itching is constant. I have spent $100's trying to find a solution other than the doctor-prescribed steroid oil. This cream has FINALLY provided a relief to the itching. I am only 3 days in, but my daughter and I have finally been able to get 3 full night's sleep without being interrupted by scratching. I cannot even believe it and am still slightly skeptical. I will add an update in about a month but so far, this has been a miracle for us. NOTHING else has provided a relief to the itching...not hydrocortizone, steroid oil, oatmeal baths, NOTHING! Good luck on your journey to find a solution but I recommend you give this a try. The jar is smaller than I expected but I'll be buying more. There is virtually no scent which is fine with me. The Dream Cream smells like eucalyptus which isn't that pleasant as a cream. This goes on silky smooth. It is not sticky and I can put her clothes on right after application. Thank you so much for this cream!!! Update: it's been months since my original review and I have to report his amazing cream is part of our bath regimen. It's worked miracles for my daughter's skin. I'm happy to say she is eczema-free. I love that it's natural, but at the same time I have to correct my original comment about the scent. It doesn't smell bad, per se. But it doesn't have a particularly pretty scent. It smells a little like sawdust or cardboard??? IDK, But regardless, overall, I'm very happy to have a solution for the eczema so I can live with the scent. It's a bedtime thing anyway so who's smelling her?! Lol. I might try adding a drop off essential oil to liven the scent. Food for thought.

Love this cream. First of all it has all natural ingredients that you can read, pronounce and know what it is.. so many creams today have a lot of chemicals that simply irritate our skin and make for cheap fillers. Secondly Manuka cream works for me as my make up base. I put it on, a bit more under eyes to moisturize better, then I wait few minutes and apply my foundation. My face looks perfect - not too dry , not too oily .. just perfect. It's really is a great cream . I don't have experience with using it for eczema and other skin conditions but don't forget all these are your body's way to expel unwanted toxins out of body thru your largest detox organ which is your skin. I helped my son with hes severe eczema by going to holistic doctors - usually chiropractors - that use spinal adjustment along with total body modification techniques to find what is really the cause of rashes and eczema rather than putting steroid creams and medications on children's skin - which used to burn my son so much and did nothing to eliminate it - and I spend hundreds of dollars on top dermatologists as they would not accept our insurance -For 2 years - I would go and visit top experts - but each would just prescribed different steroid cream - or offer to me to bring my son for experimental drug testing - which made me understand that's all they can do... I wanted eczema to be cured but it couldn't - according to one of the doctor who suggested to bring John to try experimental drugs.. that was my AHA moment and I looked back to nature and holistic approach and I helped John completely. I'm sure this cream if I would have it back then would go a long way to soothe his irritated skin. Just don't forget rashes like eczema and others are your body's way to ask for help to detoxify something that's deep inside and should not be there. Be careful what you put into your bodies including medications - read side effects and do good research for alternatives if possible.

I have mild to severe Eczema on my left hand (back of my hand to the top of my wrist) and I've tried literally every cream, powder, oil, and remedy out there not to mention a few prescription medication (steroidal) creams -- nothing. The only one I haven't tried is the RX that costs over $1,000 because...well...I just don't have that laying around to spend. I read about this cream online from a website all about Eczema remedies and thought, "Hey, why not give it a shot! If nothing more it's at least some sort of useful moisturizer you can gift to your girlfriend or mother!" .....Well, I'm happy to say they aren't getting it! It's ALL MINE!!! It actually works and works VERY WELL! In a matter of only a few minutes after applying it, the itching/burning/nagging stops and it stays away for several hours. Within a few days, it starts to lighten up the red splotches and heal any cracking skin or sores. My advice is LIBERAL application on the affected area, and if it's your hands/fingers, use Protexgloves by Solartex Sun Gear Protexgloves Original Short Fingerless (Sahara, Medium) -- or similar -- during the day to keep it covered and moist and somewhat unnoticeable from the nude-colored glove and try a gel-lined glove like these from PureSole Moisturizing Gloves Best Gel Cotton Moisturizing Gloves Touch Screen - Eczema Relief - Heals Dry Skin and Cracked Hands Fast - Anti Aging Hand Treatment - Gel Lining Infused with Essential Oils and Vitamins -- or similar -- at night to really pack on the moisture! This combo is the ONLY thing that's helped me EVER! If you don't want to bother with gloves, you should still be fine putting a liberal amount of this a few times a day. If your Eczema is another location, look around on Amazon because there are cover-up products for various parts of your body that should work well, too. Does it make it go completely away? Well, no, not yet...but it's definitely made it less irritated and itchy and it's not as noticeable! I've even used this on my 4-year-old where she gets dry/cracked skin behind her ears. Clears it up literally overnight! Best of all for me, no longer is the back of my hand fire engine red from the dryness and scratching. It's more a bit pink and back to normal even in many areas. Only time will tell whether or not it makes the Eczema do a complete retreat! Regardless, I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this cream if you're an Eczema sufferer! I imagine it would also be helpful for Psoriasis and other dry skin ailments.

I have very inflamed skin caused by the use of steroid creams and scratching. I only have this on my lower back caused by sweating and fungal infections. I have stopped using steroid creams as they ruin your skin making the skin barrier even thinner, more leathery and dark in color! Yo Ro cream is soothing and non burning cream that helps the inflamed skin.At night I sleep on my stomach and put Yo Ro cream on on my lower lumbar region exposed to air. The cream is healing. I switch back and forth from Emily cream and Yo Ro. I wish the cream would reduce the redness which causes the itching but perhaps over time it will. This cream is better than drugstore cream. It is trial and error to see what works for you!

I bought this for eczema. Everyone’s eczema responds differently to different treatments. My eczema worsens with heat and humidity. If that’s true for you, I don’t recommend this product. I think it’s too oily and was worsening the inflammation. I found that my clean beauty facial moisturizer was a lot more effective and soothing. This, however, is a nice balm for dry patches of skin like the elbows or knees. Too greasy for inflamed skin rashes.

I have skin breakouts from time to time and they can really get raw if they rub against my clothes so I purchased this Organic Manuka Skin Soothing Cream in the hopes that it would help. This product is outstanding. It significantly reduces my irritation and redness. Manuka is a honey from New Zealand that the bees make from Manuka plant flowers and it is very different from standard honey which is good when it comes to skin. This Manuka cream is a non-sticky cream that smooths right on and moisturizers, protects and heals. Though it has an opaque honey color to it, it smooths into the skin without leaving any color on the skin. This product is not for consumption as a food but strictly for the skin. It has a pleasant scent that doesn't call attention to itself. It really works well, it isn't messy and I will definitely buy more when my jar runs out.

Wish I had discovered sooner. I have very rough itchy skin on calves and shins and scratch til bleeding. This has helped tremendously. I use it twice a day. I wish I had taken before and after photos because after just 1 week I can see it clearing up and not itching as much. I have way too many allergies than a person should be allowed to have and I have to read up on every ingredient and this cream is acceptable and has no fragrance. So far, so good

I initially purchased this product for my son because he had severe eczema. I didn't want to use steroids because I knew that was not the answer. Even-dough this product is a little pricey it's worth it because of the high quality products it contains. When his skin would get all red and inflamed I would rub on and by the morning his skin redness was gone! I almost thought that this product contained steroids but it doesn't. I actually had to stop using on my son because we did a "food sensitivity test" and Honey came back high! It just shows you how it truly is so important that what we put in our skin will end up in our blood. The more reason to only put good non toxic products! The Dr. assure us that his food sensitivities were also rooted to the cause that my son had a lot "gut problems" often candida will react to even the most pure things. We have since eliminated all true allergens, food sensitivities , removed sugar from his diet (the hardest thing ever) and tackled the candida. He just had a second stool test and revealed that his digestive issues are almost completely clear! His skin is 85% clear and not by the things we are putting on his skin but by focusing on his gut. So are his allergies; we're able to give him some of those allergies food and he has no more eczema! Skin issues are always a correlation of the gut! But; while you work on tests and gut repair it's good to have something for their skin! And for us Yo Ro Naturals was a great blessing!
