Love this dress. It's hard to find Quipao dresses in US sizes above 10 or 12, so this brand is one of the only options for girls like me. I'm usually a US 14 or 16. I have an hourglass figure (47, 36, 46). I'm d or dd cup size. My shoulders are not narrow, they're a little more broad than most. That, combined with my bra size makes it challenging to find clothes that fit right off the rack, considering my hips are not wider as some girls are. I intentionally ordered this dress in both the brand's size 16 and 18 knowing that one might be a tiny bit small and the other might need to be taken in. The 16 fit well, but as suspected was a tiny bit tight. I could have lived with it, but my tailor was adamant that we keep the larger size and have it taken in to fit me perfectly. I recommend you consider doing the same and order the size of the dress larger than your largest measurement. The fabric has no 'give' to it, so you want it fitted to your body for the most flattering look, which can only be accomplished by alteration unless you are exactly shaped to the measurements of the dress as it comes. Since the dress is priced very reasonably, the extra investment in having it altered is more than worth it. Our tailor asked only $18 to take it in at the back above the hips, and at the upper waist in the front. Hoping this helps!

It’s not stretchy and I usually fit into a medium. XL was too small

This is a beautiful dress that reminds me of the ones I had custom made in Korea. The material is thick and silky and has a nice body to it. The snaps and side zipper make it easy to get into. I wish there were more frogs on it other than the two small ones by the neck. I ordered a size up from normal going by the size chart, and the top fits beautifully, but too snug on my large bottom to sit down comfortably. I’ll order the next size up again, and take the top in. This is not the fault of the dress, but due to my weird anatomy. Be warned that the slit is VERY high, and comes to the top of my thigh when it sit in it, so I’ll have to stitch it closed some. Over all I would recommend it, just pay attention to the measurements when you order, as this is a form fitting garment.

The dress was used for my Japanese themed birthday. The dress does have to be ordered two sizes up. I’m a 10 us and ordered a 14 . It fit perfectly. It does have a starch material in it . Safety pins works wonders for a quick snatching in. The buttons were a bit hard at the neck line to redo especially if you have longer nails . Overall 5 stars

beautiful design and good quality material but runs small and ripped on first wear. (gave it to my cousin bc it did not fit me she is much smaller and it still ripped on her when she sat down)

Purchased this dress for my daughter's Senior Snowball dance, as she is non-traditional and didn't want a fluffy, sparkly formal dress. Typically she wears a size 4, but I ordered the Large (US 6) size for her based on the measurements given in the listing. Glad I did, because the 6 fits her in the hips even though it's large on her in the bust and waist. If you are curvy, order based on your largest measurement. There is no "give" in the fabric because it is a thick satin brocade. The dress is well made, with all seams evenly sewn. Size zip and top snaps are good quality. The only thing I am just a little concerned about is how well the knots in the frog closures will hold up from buttoning and unbuttoning them. The loop for the closure takes some work to get the knot into and out of. (Could just be my fumble fingers.)Happy with this purchase!

Cute dress, but if you are larger than a C cup, forget about it. It has a side zipper and 2 snap buttons. Not big boob friendly. I wear a size 12 and I bought a size 16 and it fits tight on my body and won’t button around my boobs.

I don't care for the material that much. I wish it were more silky but I think it'll be fine. This fits me everywhere well except for the fact that it's a little tight at the ribcage. I don't want to buy a bigger size because it fits so well. I actually need help getting into it, but it's really very pretty. The material is a bit stiff though.
