Great water bowl for a large cat!!
I ordered other cat bowls that just were not big enough or tall enough for my large older cat. Even though this one is advertised as a dog water bowl and is large in diameter, it works perfect for my cat. Its wide enough that it doesn't bother his whiskers, and tall enough that he doesn't need to bend down to drink his water. I've noticed that he is drinking alot more water, and, I only need to refill it twice a day. At first look out of the box, I thought maybe it was too big, but my kitty loves it. So, we can keep this one, and don't need to return it. It's a very solid, quality, heavy ceramic bowl on a wide base, with no worries that it will tip over. You get what you pay for, he will have this bowl for many years to come. I'm very happy with my purchase, and so is my boy, Jasper !!

Great bowl, but…
The media could not be loaded. Have an elderly Shitzu with a hard time bending over to eat food, so we have four of these bowls, and they work great! Very heavy, so it’s hard for the dog to bump into and have it fall over.Interesting thing about each bowl, though, is when you wash them, there’s a crack underneath the finish. Strange. 🤔🤔

Glaze will chip off if you look at it wrong
Sigh. I am sadly disappointed in this dish. I was looking for something to put my (multiple} cats' dry food in, and most larger elevated feeders are at dog height, so I was happy to find this, which my cats can easily access because of its low elevation. When it arrived, it felt nice and sturdy. However, after using this for a few months, and only hand washing it, never putting it in the dishwasher, it's got multiple chips in the finish. I've tried to handle this thing with kid gloves, but listen up, friends- it doesn't matter how carefully you treat this dish, it's going to chip. Recently I was rinsing it and accidentally, ever so lightly, tapped it against the kitchen faucet. A basic stainless steel faucet. A barely perceptible bump. But- you guessed it- the finish immediately chipped off in that spot. This is likely to happen to you too, unless you have a gooseneck faucet, because this dish is tall and requires space to maneuver it beneath the flow of water.I'm now up to at least 3 glaring white chips in the previously glossy gray finish. Having made a little pottery in my day, I'm pretty sure this is because the clay that was used to make this is very poor quality. Like, you know those artist-for-a-day, paint it yourself pottery places that have rows of cheap white mugs and knickknacks ready for your kids to paint? It's that level of 'quality.' The clay is airy, not dense, and even a slight impact will cause it to crush in tiny spots, which makes the finish chip right off. Ugh. I can't imagine how on God's green earth this thing would stand up to daily use by a dog.

Great Surprise
I was really doubtful about this product. I have a 10 year old Yorkie. I was hoping this would make her life a little easier but I was afraid the product would be light weight and easy to knock over. Boy was I wrong. This thing is heavy. She could not turn this over no matter how hard she tries.Since it is so heavy I use a different method to fill it daily. I keep a 2 cup liquid measure with handle under my sink. I just reach down, pick it up, fill it, pour it into her new water dish, put it back, and I'm all done. I wash it out once a week. It don't seem to get as dirty as past bowls. It is ceramic. The inside is slick and smooth. It is the perfect height for her and it holds enough water I only have to refill it once daily. I got the off white color. It is really very pretty. If it were a little bigger, it would make a beautiful fruit bowl. This bowl not only made it easier for her but me too. Since I've gotten older, bending down & lifting things is harder. This water bowl has saved my joints from a few cricks and groans. This is one purchase I am thrilled about. Now can we talk about the ............ I ordered last week? Just kidding!

Great if you only have one cat.
Good height for my giant cats and has stopped the one puker from getting sick but 30oz is just not big enough. The bowls look bigger in pictures than they really are, very shallow not really ideal for more than one cat unfortunately as I find myself refilling both food and water multiple times a day.
