These are fantastic, except they're so long that the sides are really hard to close. The short ends are easy and these collapse, which is a great feature. I really appreciated being able to prep my ribs and chicken and have it stay in a clean container overnight. These could have heavier silicone bottoms to protect the container once food is cooked, but it held up with transporting my ribs to the party. No warping. Just really hard to snap those longer sides closed.

We got this because we needed a large container for marinating large amounts and bigger cuts of meat for bbq's. Very happy that we can fit 1 rack of ribs in here from Costco (not flat all the way across, one end curves upwards but the lid still closes). Note that's it's hand wash only! My boyfriend threw this in the dishwasher and the lid is now harder to snap on but still closes. The collapsible part is great when storing in a cabinet but we have had it collapse with meat marinating inside and causing a spill from stacking stuff on top of it. Total user error but we usually have a lot of people around when grilling and not everyone knows that it's collapsible.

Helpful for marinating large cuts, and the collapsible feature helps with storage and use. It is awkward to place it in a dishwasher so we hand wash.

Complaints that lid is difficult to snap on are valid (especially the longer edge snaps). But once you get used to them, they are not too bad. And I've filled it half with water and flipped it over without any water leaking. (I wouldn't keep it flipped over but for getting marinade over things in it, it works great.) That it collapses is a great space saver and uncollapsed it holds a lot. Overall happy with them (bought two, getting another.)

Great for marinating large cuts of meat

Bought for a friend who has a smoker. Def keeps the mess in the bin the collapsing feature has been a godsend for large pieces of meat like ribs and brisket making a quick slide motion the choice to avoid rupturing the meat.

This collapsable unit is great to store. It is basicly two solid plastic parts connected by a collapsable rubber like material. Perfect to marinate split or spatchcock chicken or similar. It also fits in the bottom shelf of my refiterator with no problem. Unless you are marinating something like a large turkey it is large enought for most cuts of mean and polutry or when collapsed fish or parts of poultry. The unit sealed tightly and I had no ptoblem with the closures.

I love it but it doesnt close easy or at all.

No clue how other can get this thing to lock up without making a mess...Unless mine is broken, this is always ....always a huge challenge to lock it in place when half full or more...personally i simply hate that 'challenge'...A product should be easy to use...not this one for me....will throw it away and get something reliable for my brining...
