Works as advertised! We used it for our birthing pool and it did great keeping the water at a good temperature!

I dont normally write reviews but this thing was terrible. It kept tripping my circuit breaker and didn't work. When I took it out of the water container it was melted at the top. Be sure to read the fine print, though it's advertised as a heater for water for animals, it states it is used best in pools so there's that.

Bought this and a bucket shower pump to help me make through a couple of months of my water heater being dead before I replaced it. I'd fill a tub with about 8 inches of water, then toss this guy in and let it warm up for a couple hours. Once the water was about 105 degrees or so, I'd unplug it and take a shower using the battery powered pump in the water I was standing in. It wasn't a great shower, but it was far better than taking ice cold showers. My only complaint is that it made whatever outlet I plugged it into distressingly warm.

I like the concept of adding this to bath water to keep it hot. However, if you have old electrical expect a different experience. This water heater tripped every outlet I plugged it into, and only got to work running an extension cord to the most updated outlet. It seemed dangerous considering how warm all the outlets and cords became after use. I am really surprised they allow this product for home use considering the product is a water heater element sheathed by a steel tube. The thermometer that comes with it is very accurate. Overall, supervision is required when using product, and expect trips to the electrical box.

We'll see. I bought and searched for a pool heater and this is what I settled on. And there's nothing at all wrong with the item. It works great, but you cannot drop it down in a big pool and expect that you're gonna see a difference right away because you won't now if you put it in a small bucket of water. It's going to have that water boiling in no time. But AA large pool, it's just unrealistic, not in the kind of time frame that you would want. In order to go swimming, the package arrived. In very good condition, I would definitely purchase this item from this seller again if I needed it. But I would've appreciated knowing that it would not work to drop it down into a swimming pool. And heat the pool because so many 1000 gallons of water are not gonna be warmed up like that. Unfortunately, thank you very good product, though. Worked well

I bought this to heat up my daughter bouncy house pool. I didn't use it directly in the pool because I was afraid of ruining a $700 bouncy house. What I did was fill up a 5 gallon bucket and then pour it into pool. It took so long allot of back and forth. I plan on just getting more of these and just putting it straight into the pool. It'll save time,energy, and won't risk spilling hot water all over. I highly recommend it heats up very quickly. Totally worth the money

My water heater went out , do to California law a permit is required to replace a current water heater . This process takes two week to obtain meanwhile we waited this product did the job . Takes a while to heat up but is great , does an excellent job .👍

Don’t waste your time. I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to return it. It doesn’t work. It may be able to heat up a 5 gallon bucket of water but it’s definitely not heating a pool. Do not waste your money. Bad Value. Bad Quality. It does come with a pool thermometer… that doesn’t work either.
