What a beautiful cake stand. It's a nice lighter gold and simply stunning in person. Appears sturdy but haven't tested it yet :)

This stand is very ornate and will compliment a wedding cake but the finish literally rubs off with the oils of your hand, so handle with gloves and be prepared to repaint it before using again. The finish is not as durable as stated in description, it is spray painted, so you will need to repaint before using again. I made a cake with a 16" baseboard and had to use a cardboard to build up the space between the cake and the cakeatand because it did not fit in the bezel of stand. It is sturdy enough to hold at least 60lbs.

Fast shipping and cake stand is beautiful! I was hesistant to buy this because of the reviews that gold plating gets rubbed off when frosting is smeared into it. But since the company redesigned the product on March 2018 I am hoping it will live up to the new quality. Just fur stars for now since I have not used it yet but will be doing so for my business so I hope it will be robust for many use.
