Dead batteries. Everything else ok.
The batteries were dead and corroded on arrival. Kid was sad but not for long since I had some of these small batteries on hand for toys like this. I guess that's more of an issue of who you buy from. I cleaned the corrosion off and the new batteries work.

We bought our first Taro at the gift shop for the Jurassic World Exhibition in San Diego and paid way too much…but it was love at first sight for my 3-year old.It’s a cute toy that makes fun sounds and movements. It was so beloved that it was frequently fought over in our home, so I snagged a second one on Amazon. It was on sale and cost 1/4 of the price of the original. So now I feel like I have paid a fair price between the two of them…and no more fighting over Taro #1.I do wish it was soft instead of hard plastic since it often ends up in bed with me somehow. 🤣
