My sister is a huge Harry Potter fan. She watches all the movies whenever she can. Her birthday was last month and I was wracking my brain to figure out what to get her, she is very particular with things that she likes, meaning it should be a very good quality and look really nice. She adores Hedwig, so I was looking for a snowy owl, when I came across the Harry Potter Noble Collection. I saw there was a Hedwig and loved this piece. I purchased this for her birthday. When I opened the package, I knew immediately that she would love it. The painting on the bird and the rest of the piece was beautiful. When she opened her gift, she loved it. I was so happy that I made this purchase, I might have to buy one for myself...

Beautiful Hedwig brings a little bit of magic to the office
This really is a nice little statue, so detailed and well made, a high-quality collectors' piece sure to please even the most casual Harry Potter fan. The size is about what I expected. Hedwig and his base have some weight, made of resin. Included is a sturdy hard plastic case to cover him and protect him from dust, as well as to showcase this as a Harry Potter collectible. The case stands 6.75" tall by 4.25" on each side. I'm sure these measurements are mentioned in the product details, so I'm not sure why people are griping at the size (did they expect a life-size owl?). I paid $27.59 (with free Prime shipping), and I think that's a fair price for this item. Anyway, this is a beautiful addition to my desk at work. I love this and so will you (or the Harry Potter fan in your life).

Huge Harry Potter fan. I'm currently making a room for just my HP stuff and I wanted something with Hedwig that wasn't cheesy. Noble collection to the rescue. This is a resin figure in an acrylic case. It can be shown under glass or out. I like it a lot. Perfect gift for a Potterhead.
