Borna Foods 100% Pure Crunchy Almond Butter, 1kg

I usually buy the Nutural World crunchy, but since the packaging change the cost has increased and the quality has reduced (the crunchy is NOT crunchy - i have to add my own crushed almonds to it).This stuff is almost identical in appearance and quality and has a lot of crunchy bits. Didnt take much to stir it and there wasnt a huge amount of separation in the tub that i received. Quite runny, but then its hot and there is no palm oil, so thats to be expected. I might pop it in the fridge to see if that firms it slightly, but its not a huge deal for me.The flavour is lovely - really quite sweet.This will probably be my new go to now.

the texture is a bit sloppy

Like others said, it's very funny.Not much flavour. I always add salt to my nut butter which helps massively with this kind.One massive positive, it's helped with my nutbutter addiction as I'm barely having half as much as I was with another brand. For that reason, I'll stick with this brand

Excellent crunchy almond butter! Tastes great and is so easy to buy when it is usually so hard to find in supermarkets.

This is not almond butter! It tastes disgusting, like its been mixed with sunflower oil or something. I will be returning

I bought this after being a bit smitten by the Meridian version and wanting, basically, the same thing but in a great big giant tub rather than a bijou jar. But this is a cheaper, bigger but much inferior crunchy almond butter - lots of crunchy bits, which is a positive, but the texture is so sloppy that if you put some on your toast if you alter the angle from the horizontal in lifting it to your mouth you find your toast topping has run off the bread and onto your plate, table, floor or dog. With the taste also inferior, it's not even entirely satisfying in porridge. I've still got three quarters of this tub left, but I've ordered some more of the Meridian...

This is the best crunchy almond butter I've tasted so far - and I've been road-testing a lot of them. Good value, too.

It tastes great, but too runny. I think because it is crunchy.
