Truck driver approved
My husband is a daily big truck driver who always uses a cb radio in his big truck. While traveling which we do often he hated not having a cb in my car. I bought this for him for Christmas and it’s been in my car since! Great range and reception. Size is not bulky! Lasts a long time, great sound quality! He is thrilled when having this on trips! Also bought other accessories for it like antenna and such. Those worked perfectly for this hand held cb. Must have!!!

One of the best telescoping cb radio antennas
Excellent telescoping cb antennas, they actually work pretty well to both send and receive transmissions, get a clear signal, good build quality, the connector is the correct one to fit a handheld cb, using these with a variety of radios, no complaints, one of the best antennas currently on the market

Most Effective Antenna And Well Worth The Money
The HYS 27Mhz Antenna 9-Inch to 51-inch Telescopic/Rod HT Antennas for CB Handheld/Portable Radio with BNC Connector Compatible with Cobra Midland Uniden Anytone CB Radio has performed beyond my expectations! I’m vacationing in the desert of southwest Arizona and the antenna has out performed the supplied “rubber duck” for my portable Uniden CB radio. My base station is in my RV and I have communicated with my wife more than 5 miles away, static free! Here’s the main reason for my stellar review: Upon receiving the antenna, I removed it from its packaging, extended it, and in doing so, the very tip of the antenna separated from the rest of the telescoping part. I contacted the company and explained. They immediately sent me a replacement, without original packaging, no postage, no return of the damaged antenna! Amazing! In a world of poor customer service, this company stood behind me and didn’t let me down! I’d urge anyone looking for a 27 MHZ antenna as a replacement for their rubber duck, to look no further!

Noticeable difference over rubber duck antenna.
This antenna is more effective than a rubber duck antenna. I don't have a swr/watt meter. I had to use a local CB'ers live stream of CB channel 19. I couldn't hear my signal on the live stream when the rubber duck antenna was in use. When this HYS 27MHz antenna is in use I could hear my signal on the local CB'ers live stream. That is a 4 mile distance. Good range in a metropolitan area. Build quality feels average amongst many telescoping antennas. It really is 51 inches long as advertised. At 27MHz you really do need long antennas to do the job. I am unsure if the black plastic section is housing a loading coil. Happy with the antenna.

Good for the money
Better than junk that radios come with. Doesn’t fit tight but ok.

51 inch extended
Works as well as the original rubber duck antenna for DX skip reception when conditions are good.

I chose this antenna for scanner use and it was the least expensive choice. When it performed poorly I swept it with a VNA. Turns out it was resonant around 27 MHz. To be fair, it is labeled "27 MHz" but I dont recall that information being in the listing... The base easily unthreads and exposes the loading coil, which I jumpered with a piece of wire. Now, the antenna performs well across the VHF band. A very simple mod. Otherwise built as well as you could expect a $14 antenna to be! No complaints.
