Just as described. Looks absolutely great and gives a bookshelf a cool look. Very simple and doesn’t look bulky. Definitely happy, looks amazing with my new made.com bookshelf. It is light but it supports all the soft cover books well.

I have it against a short row of full-sized (that is, rather thick hardcover) books and it has not slipped or slid at all. While it's true these books would probably stand by themselves fairly stably, the bookend hasn't shifted at all. It's not too light but not super heavy. The finish looks good and has a nice feel to it. As a bookend it's adequate to the task. The price isn't exorbitant. All in all, thumbs up - I'd recommend it.

I have this book holder for a month now and finally I can give an honest review. It arrived quite quick, in the box you will find JUST ONE OF THIS, not a pair, and actually is well specified by the seller. When I removed it from the box the first thing I noticed is that it was quite light with 4 rubber spots at the base to increase the grip, but my thought was "will it old my book on place?"... and the answer after a month is "sure it did!", it is on its place holding 5 heavy big books (taller than the item and all around 900+ pages) and it didn't move an inch. The stile is quite nice, and is well maid with still paint of black, I liked it first sight and I'm very happy with it. I just gave 4 stars because I guess that if I have to put more book it will start to slipper so in that case you will have to put a kind of stop in front of it. But at the moment it is a good purchese.

Lovely item. Bit expensive but I do love the quirkiness of it. I have it resting against my bookshelf so can't comment on the sturdiness.

LOVE THIS, it just looks so lovely on the end of my shelf. If I get a moment I will take a picture but to be honest it actually looks exactly as it does in the picture (I know! Very rare) Worth baring in mind is this book end does not tuck under your books it is a reverse l shape as in the picture, so you will need a little space at the end of your shelf. Also my book shelf attaches at the end, meaning there is a metal lip at the end that conveniently hold the book end in place. Whether this would make a difference on a shelf without this lip I don't know but its probably worth thinking about.

No room for a bookshelf so these bookends are perfect. I love the art deco style and couldn't have found a better fit for my lounge

Love this bookend, adds a little something to a space and is very sturdy.

It's a nice bookend but impractical as it doesn't have a lip that can go under the books to keep it in place. The bookend therefore slides away when the books fall over, rather than holding them in place. I've now bought a second hummerbird bookend, which does an excellent job.

Articolo arrivato in scatola dedicata (altri prodotti simili vengono semplicemente imbustati) e ben fatto. Forma e colore corrispondono alle foto. Carino l'effetto in libreria; per chi ha una libreria scura come la mia suggerisco il colore bianco. Unico neo: avendo una forma ad L e non a T rovescia, i libri non poggiano sopra la base, per cui questo fermalibri va bene per reggere volumi piccoli e/o stabili. Nel complesso, un buon prodotto.

Il ferma libro in questione è molto bello e funzionale, unica pecca la base è un po' grande, forse per questioni di stabilità, e ruba spazio alla libreria.

Cumple su función aunque pesa poco y según los libros no los aguanta.
