How wide is the base? The one I have is always falling between the rungs

The base is about 1 3/ x 2 3/8, but there is a hook at the top to hang it by the rungs. This thermometer is extremely small, I do not recommend it.

What is the accuracy of the Pecula oven thermometer? How often is the product tested for accurate temps?

The Pecula oven thermometer was off by 25 degrees. I bought it in mid December, then tested it against 3 other thermometers. It has been returned.

I put it on the rack in the oven then turned on the oven to 350. As soon as the oven reached what it says is 350 I turned it off and using pot holders removed the devise and read the temp. It tells me if my oven temperature is correct.

The thermometer doesn't display the selected oven temp for at lease 10 minutes after the oven indicates that it reached temperature. Is this normal?

Mine takes longer than 10 minutes. I tried a different one and it was the same. It's very frustrating. That's why I had my oven serviced twice.
