If you buy these movies for cinema photography alone it is totally worth it. Besides the awe-inspiring scenes, both movies are very good. Legends of the fall takes place at the start of WWI when 3 brothers must decide to honor their father's wishes or their own sense of moral beliefs. It's a saga that spans a generation coming of age. A River Runs Through It also spans two brother's lives as they grow up in Montanna and equates everything in their lives with the tempo and romanticism of fly fishing. Again the scenes are breathtaking and the story enthralling. Seven Years In Tibet see's Pitt portraying real life mountaineer Heinrich Harrer around the time of WWII. Heinrich befriends the Dali Lama and is on hand when the Chinese invade Tibet.
