Nice Looking Item
The ship was a bit tricky to put together, but not difficult. For the price it is not as big as I thought it could be.

There's good, bad, and ugly
Good size for an accent display model. Materials and finish are nice. Sails look good, but has minimum rigging. Just enough details to be interesting. It looks like a sleek schooner and vaguely resembles the Atlantic. The ratlines (ladders) are shoddy and fit poorly. This is a huge disappointment. These are important features that when done wrong are a major detraction. Better to remove them. Better yet would be to take time to reconstruct them. The other rigging lines are white unfinished cotton string (s/b tinted and waxed). Many tie off points are sloppy. For the discerning person this model needs some work. A bit overpriced but with a little work can be made into a nice ship model.
