Q: Does it work on 220v?

A lot of these answers contradict each other. Emrah and Salman say it only takes in 110 V, and Norman says you need to buy a separate charger (97581-1105) that takes in 100-240 V (costs $10 on Amazon), so you would only need a US > EU or other adapter to plug it in. On the other, Khalid and M.H. say that the provided charger works with 220 V. But if you look at Wahl's product page FAQ, it says that "Wahl Consumer products are designed for use in the United States. (110-120 V). It should not be used in other countries," so I'm really not sure which answer is correct.

Hi Miguel,I live in Australia and have 240 volt power. I think most of Europe also have 240 Volt. I had to get a different adaptor, as the one that comes with it is for 110 volt only. This is a bit unusual these days, normally you would just have to get a plug adaptor and that is it. I actually had a plug pack from an unused mobile phone that matched the power requirements (5 volts 600 milliamps from memory) so it didn't cost me anything.I hope I have answered your question, but perhaps it is something Wahl could look at.

It does, for the larger clipper. The smaller clipper takes AA batteries, and does NOT include a charger for them.
