Great linen sheets!
These linen sheets are great! They are soft, airy, comfortable and have a lived-in look. I definitely suggest washing these sheets prior to use in order to soften them and remove excess lint (as well as the factory scent). After the first wash I did find a lot of lint “tumble weed” balls around the room that I had to vacuum for a couple weeks. After several more washes, the lint was a lot less, and eventually none at all. They wash and dry well (they actually dry faster than cotton sheets which is a plus). Also, I have 2 cats, their claws leave small puncture holes in the linen. To fix the holes, I apply circular motions with my nail and the holes disappear back into the weave, like nothing ever happened, so phew! (or you can let them be and they'll eventually shape back into the weave) another great note is the threads don’t snag, they stay in place, so considering my 2 cats, they are holding up very well. I've also noticed the sheets don't retain cat hair like my previous cotton sheets. Lastly, they keep your body temperature just right. I’ll update this review regarding longevity, if ever rip or tear with time. Hopefully not!3/8/2024 Update: sheets are still holding up! No tears or rips whatsoever from wear or cats. No more lint either! Still look new.

Nice linen sheets.
I just got a king size basic Lilac linen sheets. The color is as expected. They appear to be high quality and fit on my bed perfectly. I normally use 100% cotton but I heard these are better. Time will tell. They appear to be a great price. It is the heat of the summer here and these are so cooling. I've had them a month and so far...I LOVE them!

2+ years and sheets are as comfy as ever
These sheets are in my rotation of 2, and are still my favorites. No rips, tears or fading. Possibly gotten softer over the years but not by much. Still feel great.

These vs $400 linens: a comparison
I’ve been using another much more expensive set of flax linens for over 2 years now, and despite some less than glowing reviews on these decided to take the ~$100 gamble so that I could have another set of sheets in rotation.I’ve washed and dried this new set once so far, and it held up well through the process (medium spin cycle in the front load washer, medium low heat in the dryer, lint trap less than half full after which was a pleasant surprise given some of the reviews.) The elastic on the fitted sheet feels a little snappy and cheap when you stretch it, so I’d avoid exposing it to higher heat for that reason alone. If you love linen, the texture of this linen is very acceptable - it’s not as smooth as some $$$ brands, but it seems like it’ll break in nicely. Anyone who says it’s scratchy probably needs to just stick to sleeping on long staple cotton or some poly blend instead. Linen has texture by design - it’s a feature, not a defect.YMMV with other colors- this review is for dusty blue.Pics 1 & 2: Right out of the box, these sheets were totally fine. No weird smells or glaring construction defects. A couple of small nubby spots and one tiny pull on a pillowcase, but tbh the same is usually true for $$$ sets. Solid medium weight fabric, evenly dyed, not as tight of a weave as my more expensive set (which may end up meaning a shorter lifespan) but still close to the same heft. Definitely no extra money spent on packaging, but I’m okay with that (though it is nice to have the linen envelopes other brands come in for patching holes.) But at almost 1/4 the price of my preferred brand of linens, it’s really not a big deal.Pic 3: I was pretty thrilled that they came close to matching the swatch from another more budget brand I was contemplating, but were still 1/2 the price of those. The other brand had enough really poor reviews that I decided if I was going to gamble, I might as well go all in and try these instead.Pic 4: pleasantly surprised at how well they matched the Zima Silk pillowcase I ordered - mix and match can be tough, but that worked out pretty well I think.Pic 5: inside fitted sheet corner finish compared to linens 4x the price - I personally prefer the serged/overlocked finish of the $$$ one (left) as it has a cleaner fit and washes and wears very well, but these seem to be folded and stitched well enough (right) so we’ll see how they hold up. In terms of depth they’re not as deep as the others, but still fit my tall mattress well enough without a struggle, so if there was any shrinkage after washing I wouldn’t know.Pic 6: comparing stitching between this set and the $$$ set - the stitching on the more expensive set is definitely tighter, the spacing between stitches is smaller, and the edge/corner finish more well-executed, but again… for 25% of the price I have no complaints.Pic 7: pillowcases aren’t center back envelope style like some luxury brands, but they do have an end pocket flap that allows you to tuck the pillow in nicely and use both sides of the case to sleep on - this is a really nice touch, especially in this price range.Pic 8: inside pillowcase stitching - this new set is on left and $$$ set on right. Again, I find the $$$ set to have a nicer/tighter overlock finish, but the top stitching with this new set should hopefully prevent future fraying. The only reason I’m not giving an immediate 5 stars is because I literally just received them and have washed and slept on them once, so I have no idea in terms of fabric longevity yet. But even if I end up having to fix stitching or replace elastic in the next 6 months, I still think they’re a solid buy if the main fabric holds up for at least a year. It’s probably worth noting that I’ve never had any set of sheets wear through in the foot area of my bed like many others mention - I also keep my toenails clipped short, and don’t move much while sleeping except to roll over a few times a night. So if you have rough feet and/or RLS, again, YMMV with these (and probably others, as friction will put wear and tear on most fabric.)Will try to report back after more than a handful of washes, but if you love the feel of a medium weight linen and are on the fence, I honestly think that they’re worth a shot.Edit: it appears that Amazon may have messed up the photo upload order, but hopefully you still get the gist!

Updated 1 year later - low quality!
UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: So I noticed just this week when making the bed with these sheets in a different room (I hadn’t used these sheets on that bed before and there is different lighting, which must be why this stood out now and I had not noticed before), that the bottom sheet is becoming THREADBARE! Right where our feet would be. See the attached photo—the white showing through the gray sheet is the mattress cover underneath the sheet! This was a 5 star review for the last year, but I’m changing it to 3 stars. No wonder there continues to be so much lint in the dryer, even after this much time. They’re still comfortable, but linen should last a very long time (some say decades!), making me think this is either made of exceptionally low quality linen fibers or it’s not actually real linen.I’ve wanted to try linen sheets for a long time based on what people say about their softness and breathability. These seemed like a good price and I finally decided to give it a try. I washed twice before using (a lot of lint in the dryer catcher thing!!), and they are soft, but in a tactile way. It’s not about smoothness —smooth, high thread count cotton sheets are always too cool, even cold, to the touch for me. I’m a person that likes the feel of flannel sheets in winter, because I like that soft fuzziness, and these linen sheets are the equivalent soft texture in a very lightweight material. My partner likes that they’re lightweight, so they keep him cool, and I like the soft/fuzziness because it keeps me warm/cozy. Hope that helps explain when people describe them being warm and cool at the same time! I will definitely be buying these again and replacing my cotton smooth sheets!

Linen sheets are AMAZING!
These sheets are amazing! The quality of them is superb and if you've never owned a set of linen sheets, you owe it to yourself to splurge on them. They keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Worth every penny!!

Soft and cooling.
I bought these sheets after I slept in my daughter’s guest bed: very soft, breathable, and even though they get wrinkled and loose, they feel great. I tend to sleep hot, so I’m looking forward to the cooling effects. Plus the rust color is beautiful in my bedroom which is muted desert colors.
