tiny gap between ceiling and base
This is a pretty and elegant light, does allow a lot of light to fully brighten my small bedroom with just one bulb. I would maybe give it 1 less star because it does not quite fit flush to the ceiling, there is a narrow gap which does bother me. I believe I will keep it and try to find a way to fill that gap. Very easy to install for a first time light swapper. I changed my rating to 5 stars because after a couple weeks I really do love the elegant look of the light, with a reasonable price.

Obsessed!
I knew exactly what I wanted when I started renovating our 1950s home. In the hallway I wanted something light and airy, but with a traditional vibe to honor the home. I’m so glad I went with this! The brass accents are beautiful. My sister is ordering the same one after seeing mine! It was extremely easy to install. I get numerous compliments. I’m so happy I found this!

Lovely shape
Nice light for the price. I love the shape and the ease of installation. I took one star off because the color is a pale yellow that isn't even close to brass or gold. It looked terrible but I used gold leaf rub n buff and that gave it lovely texture and deep gold color.

Beautiful mid century modern light.
The mounting nuts fit on the side of the base making it easier to screw them in. Just note that this feature eliminates using a standard medallion due to the ridge that butts up to the base. We had hoped to get a two-tone look and eliminate some of the ceiling damage from the bigger previous fixture. No go. It does look better and cleaner this way.

Elegant and simple
We put two of those in our hallway and kitchen entrance, we love them. They are elegant and timeless. It is the perfect amount of lighting and it looks beautiful turned off or on.

love this light! the one my apt came with was hideous so i needed to find one that was cute but not too overbearing or noisy. this one is perfect !

Looks great and expensive
